Update! I previously marked this as 1 star because I had issues with it. I found that you can reset the microcontroller and it now works perfectly.Previous review:It worked for about 5 minutes. Then it no longer will connect. The Bluetooth connection is pretty much useless now and the app will not longer connect to the controller.Happy to learn how to reset the controller. If you are having trouble with the controller then do the reset by unplugging and pluging back in the power with a 5-7 second delay between pluging and unplugging until the LEDs flash.

WIFI version of these things arrived DOA, or died soon after being put into service. And I'm using with no WIFI router, on a sailboat, so I couldn't control multiples light sets on separate dongles.Got this Bluetooth Mesh edition, and had a whole different experience. They linked on BT easily, every one of them has worked fine for some months now, and finally I can manage all the various zones at will. Good choice this.

The price is good but the stats are way way off. It drew a maximum of 2.4amps at 24.5v thats a long ways off its supposed output. Also the app forces you to keep your location on in order to use any of the functions/ connect to the controller which is inappropriate. However they did mesh together via Bluetooth on my phone and function very well even if they were far less powerful than advertised.

Connecting through the app took some time, but after it was done the connection is always nearly flawless. This comes with the double-sided tape for mounting and it would good, just clean the surfaces before sticking. I like the app interface and how many colors and color patterns this can output. The main reason for buying the Bluetooth version is because the remotes that come with others usually break with little use.

I used this to hook up to an RGB LED light strand. The required app is pretty well done and has lots of features I use based on holidays, work days and weekends. Really neat little device for the price.

Woeked well for my use 18 inch led strip. I tried this connected to a full 16 ft roll and it sorta worked for a few seconds but it overloaded the controller and went to some kind of protection mode. Not sure where the limit is but somewhere between 1.5 and 16 feet

I’ve followed product description on how to connect it. Never worked. I’ve spent a lot of time looking up how to reset it and nothing works. LEDs just kinda flash randomly at different colors.

It just works. the only thing is getting the app to connect to it. but, just takes some patience.

Got this for our studio that has 7 strip lights that we like to have set to different colours. Got tired of turning them all on separately with those stupid remotes so decided to try these. I gotta say I love these controllers. 7 different lights and 3 different users (we have to login to same account but that’s fine) and it works flawlessly everytime. We can also make our own scenes with the different colours for each lights and get it to change with touch of a button. Very happy with these!

I seached for many strip controllers and this is one of the best bluetooth one a good price. The app does all you need for a rgb light souce. I had problems pairing but after resetting my phone it worked fine. The only thing I dislike is the microscoping manual...
