Great product does exactly what it says on the tin

A great machine does everything it said it would. It works really well and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a dehumidifier

We were very happy with our purchase. It is helping to get rid of mould on our bedroom walls.

Keeps our conservatory dry, especially our fabric blinds. Very quick and quiet. Kicks out quite a bit of heat (good in the conservatory!)

Brillant and done its job well

Failed (no control panel display at all) just post warranty expiration. Did some research and it seems that these have a reputation for failing shortly after warranty expiration. Shame because it worked effectively. The company will try and blame the failure on not cleaning the filter (coarse plastic grid) regularly. I did this weekly. Opened the machine to check thermal fuses/thermistors (common cause of failure) but these were okay. No sign of life at control panel despite power being present. From my research on the internet and the amount of units failing (just out of warranty) it would appear to be a poor quality product for a premium price. I cannot recommend.

Machine worked well but broke within 2 year period. Lost proof of purchase due to changing amazon account, which lead to not being able to have machine repaired. Meaco customer service was very poor, took 3 days to get a response but correspondance went forward and backwards not getting to be finalized. Was also told that meaco does not sell the part i needed so i cant fix the machine myself. Therefore i am replacing this machine with a cheaper alternative.

I have an issue with my machine and the customer support provided by Meaco was superb.
