It really looks great and is sturdy and well designed. No assembly required - simply unpack, remove the strudy backing, insert photo, replace backing and hang. It can be hung either vertically or horizontally which a huge plus. The backing is one of the best I've ever used - simply rotate 6 secure fasteners to remove and secure back. Not sure why many others make this so hard and poorly designed. I got the 11x14 and it can be used for an image that size or as I used it, with the mat for an 8x10. And the mat really enhances the look, but either way would look great. And it also comes with a glass or plastic front and again I really can't tell which it is. Probably plastic due to lighter weight. Very nice. The frames come in various sizes and colors and I got the brown one, which actually looks like maple or similar wood, even though it's plastic. I think it is - I really can't tell. Very nice look. It came the next day from desertcart and was well packaged, even though the frame was in a box from manufacturer that was very sturdy and secure.

Love this frame. Well beyond my expectations based on the price. It really looks great and is sturdy and well designed. These are nice frames. Durable solid wood, true to size,and reasonably priced. I like the weathered look of the frame as well. I love these frames. I've made multiple purchases over the last 10 years of dark and light wood, black, and white frames in a couple of sizes. They are high quality and arrive undamaged. I purchased 2 frames to pet portraits to give as gifts. Two years later, my friends got a third dog and asked if I could make a matching portrait for the new one. Could I still get the frame? Yeap. Did t match the originals. Yeap! Was it still a reasonable price? Yeap! This new purchase is to add a 5th portrait to the wall. Thanks for making a solid and consistent product!
