If it wasn't for this wheelchair I would have been unable to go with my family on so many adventures and daily outings that my family has always done together throughout the years. This wheelchair has given me the ability to get back out into the world again, and there's no price tag on that freedom. What we thought possible with a regular standard wheelchair just wasn't. They're great for flat, perfectly smooth hallways, but anything else, it's like putting an adult in a stroller and telling them to hold on!! We quickly found out how impossible it was to get me around in the standard wheelchairs without getting hung up on everything from gravel, lawns, stuck in potholes, etc.. all with me feeling every single rock, divit, and bump underneath and ending up in agony for weeks afterward. I did a lot of reading and comparing on available wheelchairs and talked with my doctors about what they recommended. While they recommended a power chair, it just wasn't a feasible option for me, so the hunt was on. I needed a chair that was relatively lightweight, folded flat, easy to break down, sturdy enough to tackle outdoor activities while remaining stable with me in it, and something that fits my small frame. The fenetic lightweight folding wheelchair for traveling ended up ticking every box. My mom and children are all able to take me to apts and "out on the town" and know that they can lift the chair in/out of a vehicle without issues. I do use an extra thick cushion for my seat in addition to their seat as there isn't enough padding for me. The only thing I have to say somewhat negatively/cautionary towards this wheelchair is that when you first receive it, you REALLY should replace the two inner tubes that come within the tires. Otherwise, you may find yourself stuck in the middle of nowhere with a flat and scrambling to locate the nearest bike shop/chain store, hoping that they have your size tube in stock.One option that this chair has that I was like, huh, okay.. adjustable arm wrests. Now, in all honesty, when I first got the chair and saw that the arms could adjust in height, I didn't really think much about it. However, this has to be one of my many favorite options with this chair. It's made transferring me so much easier on everyone. They pull my chair up side to side with the exam chair and drop the arm wrest. Then they are able to just slide me over instead of having to get me up and outta my chair. If I'm out for a while and I start feeling the tension growing in my shoulders, I can change the height of my arm wrests and avoid further muscle fatigue and pain. Simple fix. Whoever designed this wheelchair really put a lot of thought into even the smallest of details. As a user of this chair, it is appreciated and noticed.

Great chair! Goes anywhere easily because of the tires. They're so durable and give a great ride on any terrain. And the chair is comfortable. Equally important is that it folds and fits in any car.

Inner Tubes of flat constantly making it totally unreliable. Do not recommend.And, when you call for replacement inner tubes. they give you a phone number to an endless info commercial trying to sell you tons of medicare garbage you don’t want.

I needed an all-terrain wheelchair for my wife to have a comfortable time while we traveled in Europe this Fall.I figured that Solid wheels on European cobblestones would be a terrible combination, and I wanted to find a “travel friendly” multi surface capable wheelchair that I could get on and off trains and planes easily, and that would be comfortable on rough sidewalks and roads.This chair with inflatable tires did the job so well on our 8 day trip through Italy and Switzerland, that we can’t wait to get our next trip started!!Why 4 stars - I did immediately replace the tire inner tubes as mentioned on several reviews for this chair. And I was surprised to see that Both of the inner tubes that came with the chair had already been repaired with tire patches!! So strange. The company actually promised to reimburse us for the replacement tire tubes, but that has not occurred yet.Great customer service!! One of the chair armrests had a sharp piece that was uncomfortable for my wife and the company sent a replacement armrest right away.It’s a very light chair … maybe too light! I need to contact the company once again, since the right side brake lever mechanism has failed due to a broken plastic part. I’ll update this review to let you guys know how that interaction goes.We like the chair, it travels well, and after getting my wife comfortable on each train we used, I was able to collapse it and fold it down and hide it away with the regular train luggage areas!It really worked well for us, and we hope its durability doesn’t disappoint.Updated 28 Oct 25 - The customer support person, maybe in CA, has been very very responsive to some of our issues. We just got the replacement part for the broken brake mechanism, and she did reimburse use for the replacement inner tubes we used since the originals were patched tubes. We LOVE this chair! It is exactly what we had hoped for when we set out to find a chair for me that would allow me to be more mobile. My husband and I like to go for walks but because of my COPD, I can't walk long distances without frequent rests. With this chair, I push the chair until I get tired...then I sit in the chair and my husband pushes me. We cover much longer distances in this way than we could before. We wanted a chair that had a "soft ride" and could negotiate rougher terrain, not just paved trails but also dirt and grass trails. This chair does that. I wouldn't go climbing a mountain, but you can definitely negotiate rougher surface trails. It's so easy to handle, a very gentle and quiet ride for me and it's also easy for me to push myself should I want to. This chair seems very well constructed, with many thoughtful features such as wheel release buttons, brake access for both the rider and the person pushing, a seat belt, a pouch to carry stuff, etc. It folds up small and fits well in the back of our SUV. Overall we are terribly pleased with this product and would recommend it to others looking for a smooth and soft "all terrain" ride.

This wheelchair gets me back & forth across our farm, surprisingly well on the sand, grass, uneven ground. Fits in our midsize car. Reasonable weight/design for me to get myself around on pavement/flooring, or comfortable to be pushed.A piece broke about a month after purchase, quickly & easily replaced by simply contacting the seller. Excellent customer service, and the break appears to be a fluke, everything else is still solid after 3 months now.Update: Still doing very well for me after 7 months, very solid and smooth. They tell me it's easy to push me even on grass, and I am not tiny.It's a substantial chair, even folded up; I use a smaller rollator inside my little house. It's getting me out to the car, and out and about, really well.

This wheelchair is not all terrain, not even a little bit. It can not even get through hard packed dirt and sand. The tires arrived under inflated. The tire PSI says 40 to 60 pounds these tires were 20 pounds. I filled them to 50 pounds but then the brakes rubbed. I bought this chair specifically for being able to go out and walk with my dogs on hard packed dirt, crushed gravel and sand. It can't do it.The chair also steers to the right so have to keep correcting.The positives are, it does well on blacktop. It is comfortable, I bought the 18 inch seat. It is light weight and easy to fold and store in the back of my van.But if you are looking to be able to go off blacktop, decking, or concrete you will be very disappointed.

I am a person with a permanent physical disability and I purchased this chair as an upgrade for an anniversary trip with my husband. First, let me say the chair is light weight, the ride is smooth, not jarring over uneven surfaces, easily folds and seems to fit in every size vehicle trunk. Now let me speak to the customer service of the wheelchair company as this item is not sold by Amazon. On the very first day of my Washington D.C. vacation a plastic piece broken and could not be glued or mended because of where the break occurred. I sent a message to the vendor with a photo and within a couple of hours Libby respond and offered to overnight ship a metal version of the replacement part to the hotel. The part was received by 10:00 am the following day and my husband was able to swap the part out using a screwdriver. I cannot say enough how professional, prompt and helpful Libby was, she saved the day and our trip for sure. This is a great chair and I understand your hesitation about spending this amount of money on a wheelchair however, based on the customer service alone I would highly recommend this product. I have just given this wheelchair its first outing. It arrived packed inside a box wrapped in tape that felt like a heavy suitcase. I was relieved to find that the wheelchair could be rolled out of the box easily, so no need to lift it out. The parts can be assembled easily, which is just as well, since the instructions are minimal. Nothing in the instructions tells you what to do with the tyres, but there are yellow stickers (see first photo). The tyres arrived deflated, so you will need a good bicycle pump. I read other reviews criticising the quality of the inner tubes, and I agree they are hard to inflate because there is nothing to stop the valve pushing into the tyre when you try to fit the pump. I solved the problem by pressing on the tyre at the same time. Although the stickers tell you to inflate to at least 40psi the tyres themselves (second photo) say they the standard pressure is 350kpa (which translates as 50psi). I inflated them to 50psi. I noticed the tyres don't hold their pressure for very long, and after a few days they were down to 30psi and I needed to pump them up again. I wouldn't want to venture out with this wheelchair without carrying spare inner tubes. The tyres say they take 24x1.95 inner tubes (see 3rd photo) and a bicycle shop recommended the tubes shown in the 4th photo. So, as I mentioned, I have just given this wheelchair its first outing. I travelled to a nearby bird reserve. The wheelchair easily folded into the boot of my VW Golf (see 5th photo), although I needed to detach the wheels. I pushed my wife through wet grass, along a bumpy dirt track, through a woodland path and into a bird hide. She reported a comfortable ride most of the way. The wheelchair easily made the tight 180 degree turn needed to enter the hide. The lap belt was helpful at keeping her secure when we negotiated the bumps and potholes. I found the attendant brakes useful but I only used them as a last resort when going downhill. The disadvantage of having knobbly all terrain tyres is that the brakes tend to judder when they touch the tyres. After visiting the bird hide we set off down the coastal cycle path. The only time my wife reported she was uncomfortable was when we crossed a wooden bridge, and the regular slats made the chair bounce, but we made it across by inching the chair slowly forward. After the outing, I discovered that you need to disengage the brakes before detaching the wheels. (I'll remember next time, but it would have been useful to have more advice in the instructions.) Despite the issues with the instructions and the inner tube, I'm still giving this wheelchair 5 stars because it performed superbly along off road tracks, it is easy to transport and light enough to load and unload into a car.Hello, it's me again. I thought you would like to know I have taken this wheelchair through the trails at Sherwood Forest. It was able to take the dirt trails with ease. We even managed to deviate off the trail and stop in a few forest clearings. The worst part was a gravel track which was very heavy going. On one of the trails we passed through mud which stuck to the wheel and rubbed on the left hand brake. It looks like there are screws to adjust that brake, but no instructions how to do it. Still a great wheelchair, though. My wife saw parts of the forest that would otherwise have been inaccessible to her.

Après un problème de santé à près de 90 ans, mon père à eu besoin d'un fauteuil roulant.Il a eu droit au fauteuil en ferraille dans la maison médicalisée très lourd qu'il avait d'énormes difficultés à manoeuvrer.Donc il savait ce qu'il ne voulait pas. Après beaucoup de recherche je me suis arrêté sur ce fauteuil.Et là bonne pioche, c'est tout à fait ce que souhaitait mon père.Léger, manoeuvrable, un prix abordable, qui se repli facilement et confortable.c'est pourquoi après quelques semaines d'utilisation je mets 5 étoiles.

Bought for my son, seems sturdy enough for a lightweight wheelchair. A couple of small dislikes, when using the brakes there is a grating on the wheels ( haven’t had chance to adjust them yet, so could possibly be rectified) and the footrests can’t be fixed into the outward position when getting out the chair. Other than that, seems fine and travels well over uneven ground. Well pleased with our purchase.

Excellent chair especially for an oversized person. Good quality all round.

We purchased this for my mother-in-law so that we could visit more outdoor places and in particular be able to do woodland trails (that are wide enough) and gardens. So far we have been able to go everywhere that we have wanted to together. I think it is necessary to make your own judgements as there will be a limit - but so far the chair has exceeded our expectations.We have not had any issues with the inner tubes supplied, but we will be carrying spares and a pump in a back on the back.The other thing we have done is add a power stroller to this chair. We have fitted it just behind the foot rests so that it does not stick out he back and get in the way of the person behind the chair. We have been very impressed with this addition - it has helped across all terrains so far which is excellent. A couple of things though. It will be necessary to turn one of the brake handles. The other point based on our fitting location is that it is not possible to lift the motor unit when it is installed due to the cross beams - but we have not had an issue because we always use the power stroller. If you do fit the power stroller it will be necessary to remove it before you can fold the chair.Hope that helps - we would not hesitate to buy another one if we ever wear it out.
