Petzl Swift E095BA01 Headlamp RL 7.8 W Orange

The Petzl Swift has got to be the best mid-range headtorch you can buy in my opinion. It's bright enough to use on the darkest routes, I use it on totally pitch black roads and trails. It's lightweight too for such a bright torch. I like the fact that it doesn't have a battery pack on the back of the head. That does mean it's slightly bigger on the front I think, but it doesn't cause a problem for me. It doesn't slip or fall down and basically I forget it's even there. The battery level indicator is a great feature. Battery life is really good, I can vouch that a 2 hour run on the full setting can be done easily. I use a little clip on red light for the back of the band, that's the only thing that's missing. The various settings are easy to use. Would throughly recommend.

Bought this in Jan 2024 and just over a year it suddenly stopped working. Contacted the seller and they have been fantastic at sorting the issue out for me. The torch itself is great, I had been given the actik core as a gift previously and have found the battery life is ridiculously short but the swift is lengthy and reliable. The brightness is great too with a few different settings you can have it at. Highly recommend this model and if you can stretch to buy this over the actik core I certainly would.

This review comes in after three years of using the head torch. It's a star buy as it's been perfect, long lasting and super bright. recharging is simple and does not take that long at all. my personal use case is running, it fits well is adjustable, so goes over a hat or bandana Well worth the money!

Perfect for a headtorch it calculates when you need extra light and makes the torch brighter when needed or dims when not needed. Easy to use, comfortable on the head, compact, usb charge which is great for 12v in the campervan.

After using this £68 Petzl Swift RL (reactive lighting) in orange for a few weeks now I must say that it fits my needs, I’ve mainly used this while walking the dogs down some dark lanes, church yard etc, as you do and it’s invaluable for locating the dog mess, enabling two free hands to clear it up. No more faffing with a torch in 1 hand trying to Poopa scoop with the other! The auto lighting feature (the best mode to use it in) is quite cleverly thought out and implemented and does work well, though sometimes gets it wrong but all in all it’s good and I’m quite impressed. Basically if you’re looking close to the ground or at another light (If you look up at the street lights for example it auto dims, clever) the full 900 lumens is not active but look up into the night and you get the full fat 900 which is ample, at least for me it is. I also intend to use this as a head torch for a bit of night time mountain biking, but not tried that yet. Happy with my purchase, oh yes!

Fantastic headtorch, reactive lighting is really useful. Mostly use it for walking the dog at night alone and feel safer being able to actually see... But may also use for night climbing as it is basically daylight with this headtorch!! Yes it's pricey but worth the money being able to see at night! Highly recommended!!

We bought this to use on dark mornings whilst taking our horse down to grazing. On brightest setting it lights up almost 100 yards in front of you, very impressive. The adaptive light function works as it should, as you walk into a brighter area, it dims to account for this. Charge time from flat was about 2 hours but it lasted all week on a charge and was used for about half an hour each morning. Build quality is excellent and has a handy charge level indicator on the unit. This was an upgrade for us, over an older Petzl light that lasted years, I would buy this again for sure.

I bought this headlight to use on night-time jungle walks. It was really bright and has the clever feature where the brightness is automatically adjusted to accommodate the ambient brightness. The rechargeable battery holds more than enough charge for my purposes but, if you intend heavy use, Petzl sell spare batteries. I did not use the headlamp for night-time sports so i cannot provide feedback on that. This lamp is expensive but I do not regret buying it.

No voy a describir las funcionalidades porque eso ya lo trae el articulo en la descripción. Lo que si voy a poner es mi percepción y os puedo decir que alumbra una BARBARIDAD, parece increíble como algo tan pequeño pueda alumbrar tanto. La batería dura una barbaridad y la cinta en la cabeza es ajustable y cómoda. Yo lo uso para Trail running y el frontal en la bajadas no se mueve ni un milímetro. Resiste perfectamente la lluvia, batería intercambiable...es un frontal para durar años y paños. Vale cada uno de los 70-80 euros que pagues por él.
