I purchased one of these for my husband who is in construction and has to read blueprints all day, sometimes in places where there is no lighting. He absolutely loves this magnifier and asked me to order another one to give to his boss. It's nice and compact, too. Good product at a good price!

Nice light decent quality handy when you need it

In a word, it's junk. The lens distorts images significantly - hardly what I'd expect from a decent-quality aspheric lens. Also, the LED lights only come on at times, after gently fiddling with the position of the lens. I'm returning it right away.

Works quite well for what I had intended. Reading small restaurant menus, anything with less than 7 point print. The Portability is great. Can take it in my pocket, or an outside pocket of my 'puter case when on a plane, and need quick magnification. The view, depending on angle, kind of warps a bit. Just a little distracting. Overall I like it. Anyone with 20/40 vision or wearing readers will like this option when needing magnification "on the move".

4x not even close, less than 2x. slide-out sleeve protector for the LED light, NO sleeve doesn't cover lens or LEDs. Crystal-clear acrylic aspheric lens magnifier, allowing for a clean and sharp viewing, NOPE lens was distorted. Back to Amazon an hour after delivery.

Very handy, compact and easy to use. I've been having difficulty with the increasingly small print on various products, prescriptions and other medicines primarily, and this has helped tremendously with enlarging the microscopic print (to the eyesight challenged like myself). The light helps illuminate the text and is a simple touch to turn on/off.

Oh My Gosh! Best little item I've ever bought, I keep it in my purse for when I'm shopping and can't read the itty bitty writing on a label. In fact once when a sales clerk couldn't read a tag number, I pulled this out and she used it....She LOVED it! In fact she asked where i bought this so she could get one.

The picture looks like the glass can slide in and out of the case and be protected but its not. The glass cannot slide into the case so need to carry another protective cover for it. :(
