Shiseido Crystallizing Straight Express Processing for Healthy Hair EX1+2

If you’re African American and considering puothis product just do it. I was hesitant to purchase because of reviews with hair falling out and not sure if it would work on my 4c hair. I usually go to the salon but was tired of paying 450 each time for process so I took a chance because it’s just a process right, follow directions carefully and you’ll be ok. I think my hair came out better than the salon with product but the smell omg. Don’t do in small bathroom or wear a mask.

Hair gets smell every time you wash, it really straits the hair, but for max 2 months, depending the thickness of your hair. Still recomend

This product was easy to use and actually works. I have very thick, coarse, resistant hair. I have had my hair Japanese straight permed in Japan professionally, and they could not get my hair to straighten. They had to do the treatment twice in the same day and my hair still remained frizzy and wavy. Years later, I tried doing a keratin treatment at home, and the process was very difficult and the fumes were unbearable. The results washed out within 2 weeks, and I was left back at square one. I ordered this product (the extra strength), and ended up leaving it in my hair for 90 min (testing it every few minutes to make sure I did not fry my hair off). The results are perfect. I could have gotten it more pin straight had I straightened smaller sections of hair, but I like slight volume and body I retained for a more natural look. Even with my long thick hair, I only used half of this product. I would absolutely recommend this product!

This is so much better than Keratin if you have hair that is resistant to it or hasn’t lasted that long in the past. I have had both very expensive Japanese straighteners and Keratin treatments in high-end salons and used the “strongest” at home products. I loved the Salon Japanese treatments I have gotten in the past, but I can’t afford to pay $700+ for one and I despise spending all day sitting in that chair with those fumes feeling trapped! This product is the real deal! I recommend getting someone to help with applying the product (there are 2 applications) and helping with the flat ironing portion. Make sure to read the instructions/watch some of the YouTubes on it before you start. The entire process still takes several hours, but you can open windows and be in the comfort of your own home and take showers for the long rinses required between the treatments instead of getting whiplash by hanging your head over that uncomfortable ceramic bowl and choking on the fumes! Oh yeah- buy some face masks for yourself and the nice friend who will apply the product and straighten for you. Note: Only use this product if you want your hair to be absolutely straight for a period of 6-9 months. You cannot reverse it, and you will not be able to get your hair to hold curl for several months. Also, wait at least 10 days before coloring after the treatment. You’ll love your new, soft, straight locks!

Okay so I followed the instructions and watched several videos before doing this so please be extra careful and do your research. The first product smells terrible and strong but that’s something I don’t really mind. After my first wash, my hair was much much more straight and soo soft. I have curly, dry, and puffy hair and this made it straight/slightly wavy and super soft. Its not extremely slick straight but I think that’s because I didn’t leave the product long enough (due to fear) and because I didn’t leave my hair down for 72 hours. It’s only been a day after my first wash but so far so good. I’m extremely pleased with the results. I’ve wanted to do something about my hair for a while and finally got the results I’ve wanted. I highly recommend for those who struggle with their curly hair. Do NOT do this procedure if you have had a chemical process, bleached or have dyed your hair.

First of all, my hair did not come off as some people have mentioned in the reviews. I was so scared because of the reviews I read but I decided it to give it a shot! I have never died my hair but I have had about 5-7 straightening treatments. 5 days before the straightening treatment, I did some treatment masks. During the process, I added a few drops of argan oil to the hair straightener cream just to help with the chemicals. My hair is very curly at the roots so I set the iron to 420. Make sure you use salt and sulfate free products on your hair because that really makes a difference!After I did the treatment, I blow dried it and then applied argan oil and ironed it. My hair is a bit curly in the back but it brought it down compared to how my hair was! Now, my hair is very soft and it did not burn it or anything at all.

I liked how it straightened my hair and it had a shiny, healthy finished. You just have to monitor the process everytime to prevent your hair from damaging. Next time, I’ll buy the milder one cause this is pretty strong for my just a little wavy, straight hair. If you have coily or real curly hair this will works best for you. Overall, it’s a great straightening kit and it truly crystallizes the hair as it says.

My hair isn't curly but I have this thick and too much volume hair that waves like everywhere. Now I have a silky and straight hair. I washed my hair everyday for 4 months now and it still looks silky and straight. It will work really well if you know how to use it properly. Tip: Never used on bleach hair. I know it but I still did and it overcooked my bleach hair and lost most of it. There is some hair straightening product that will not burn your bleached hair. Follow the instructions and iron your hair in small portion many times for best result. It took me 7 hours by myself. The best trick is iron hair as thick as paper thin many times.

I hate that it was delivered so late. Plus, the last time I checked, it was 800g that’s why I opted for this than the rest. When I received the package it was only 400g. Way too pricey for the amount I paid.

Perfect straightning cream I have ever used. But really strong.

Didn’t work. So disappointed!
