I've been using Salad Supreme for years, and this is one of those seasonings I like to keep in the cabinet because nothing else seems to give pasta salad quite the same flavor.That's definitely where I use it the most. I'll make a cold pasta salad with vegetables, dressing, and a generous amount of Salad Supreme, and it gives everything that familiar savory, slightly cheesy and seasoned flavor I’m looking for. I usually end up adding a little more after the salad has been refrigerated because the pasta seems to soak everything up.What I like is that it isn't limited to salad. I've sprinkled it over vegetables and used it to season chicken and other foods when I want something different from my regular BBQ or all-purpose seasonings.The Romano cheese and spice blend has plenty of flavor on its own, so I taste the food before adding additional salt or other seasonings. It's very easy to keep shaking this stuff on.The 8.25-ounce bottle is the size I prefer because the smaller containers disappear quickly when I'm making a big bowl of pasta salad for a gathering.For me, pasta salad just doesn't taste finished without Salad Supreme. I can experiment with the noodles, vegetables, and dressing, but this is the seasoning I keep coming back to.
