I took a chance getting one of these to fit an odd workshop stool - a Cramer Kik-Stool. Not only did it work perfectly, the build quality of the cushion exceeded my expectation. It stays in place well thanks to the strong elastic and it's way more comfy than the ridged top of the stool. I can even drag the stool by grabbing the cushion I'm really happy that my experiment worked out so well thanks to the quality of this product.

Perfect fit and made my stools look like new

I’m happy with my stool cushion. It fits perfectly and has the right amount of give. I use it on a wooden stool to play upright bass for a couple of hours each day. The only reason I gave 4 stars is that it is described as a leather covering on it when it is faux leather.

I have tried a couple cheaper barstool covers, and neither one of them held up very well. (The last one reminded me of a faux leather shower cap; the fake leather started peeling off from the stretchy underside after about a year.) This one is advertised as being leather (I don't think it's actually leather, but it resembles leather in appearance, is a nice thickness and is very smooth across the surface of the stool-no wrinkles or bumps). It's extremely well designed and constructed. The cushion is very thick and is securely sewn in, so it doesn't slide around. The elastic around the bottom is strong and makes for a snug fit. My barstool's top is 13" in diameter and this cover is a perfect fit.

After a week's use, the padding is still cushy and form fitting. It fits nicely on top of my stool which already has a 1 inch thick closed cell foam pad that is very dense and hard, but still softer than plain wood. The two pads make a nice combination because the Shinnwa is soft and conforming, while the closed cell pad ensures my bones are protected from the solid wood underneath. It works. The faux leather cover is soft and stretchy compared to real leather, but I suspect it will last quite a while.

This 13” stool cushion is nicely made. I bought two and I am very satisfied with purchase. It has a nice appearance, it stays in place, stretches enough to fit the stool. Sizing is important. I purchased the brown color.

Worth waiting for! My initial review was in reaction to the slow delivery of the product, and tracking problems (now resolved). This stool cover looks like high quality leather and is comfortable to sit on. This cover is well made. I'm very happy with it!

The look, feel, comfort and quality was worth the extra dollars. The competition had thinner padding or didn't say how thick the padding was.
