Just got started canning and the first recipe I do is pickled jalapeno rings. It is very powdery and it states to try and not inhale the dust, so I held my breath when I scooped it out of the package and into my pot lol. It worked very well as I believe this product keeps what your pickling crisp. My recipe only called for a cup and a half, so I have plenty leftover for other recipes that may call for this lime.
