Review: The Upgrade I Needed - If, like me, you're used to the cheap projectors and constantly being unsatisfied with the output, prepare yourself to be satisfied. Crystal clear, can reduce down to teeny size simply by moving the projector closer to the work, bright enough with excellent detail for most jobs if you're projecting onto white paper, super bright if you turn off the lights. It's not the projector for any work bigger than about 3'x4', but you could do it depending on the amount of detail you need and whether or not you can turn off ambient light. It's not the projector for large wall murals. There's another Autograph model for that with much higher lumens. But, for the average illustration type projection job, it's perfect. The controls all work like they're supposed to, focus is nice and tight, etc., etc.... I kinda balked at the price, but now that I got it, it's worth the dough.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: I am using it to project onto canvas for paintings. Is there a way to scale up or down gradually? similar to zoom?**
A: The easiest way I've found is to change the distance of the projector from the surface you are using.  You can then refocus for a sharp image.

**Q: Can you shrink an image?**
A: Well, since the images projected are from images loaded from your computer, I guess you could do it either way. Positioning the projector close to the canvas/paper you will work on, or just use standard editors to shrink it on the computer to start with, and work from there

**Q: Can this projector put an image onto a smaller canvas such as 16x20?   How small can the projection be?**
A: I have it mounted about 27" high and am using it as a third monitor. It projects down to an area of about 18"X12". If I need to project something smaller I just reduce it in the computer application to a smaller size. It is nice to work with set up like this.

**Q: I haven't seen a table mount for this.  Has anyone used it in a looking-down position - like over your head on to a canvas/drawing paper; if so how?**
A: It will work if your tripod will allow you to rotate the Artograph so it is pointing straight down at the work surface.
