This is the best Celtic Salt and for the price. I've ordered it a couple of times, as I 've been using salt plentifully since my stroke & heart attack 3yrs ago (Ha! ..to the day!). Yes, the Dietary Guidelines our hi-jacked gov't has been feeding us for 115 years has been a fraud, to keep us sick. One other thing I like about this granular salt, is that it is moist and seems to be more savory with flavor, and I'm guessing it has more mineral content but, certainly tastes alive. I like to refine the salt in a Marble Mortar and Pestle. That way I have fresh salt, and only crush new salt every 5 days. This was a good buy, and a good product. Unless you can afford the Pink Himalayan Salt from Israel (that probably has depleted uranium and gun powder residue, in it) this is the best dollar value!

This salt contains 82 minerals. Table salt contains only 1 mineral: sodium chloride. Celtic salt is unrefined, so it’s more moist. The grains are coarse and take longer to dissolve on cold foods. It is gray because it is not processed. It is easy to use when cooking. It dissolves very well on hot food. It is durable, it never spoils. It tastes amazing. One bag contains 5 lb, lasting me a while. I recommend this salt to everyone. The only con I can think of is the price. It is more expensive than other brands.

Great SALT, good for you, Essential for us animals! It’s gotten a bad rap, for retaining water, but we can’t Live without it!! It retains the minerals that we need for our very heart beating!!

I enjoy this salt for its taste. Been buying it for a while and it's still the same as I last remember. If you're buying it for the amount of trace minerals it advertises as having, that's just a gimmick marketing tactic. The amount of the trace minerals it has is miniscule for it to have any impact. Only buy it if you prefer the taste.
