I used this for a mercury head dime I had...I did buy a very small screwdriver set so I could get it tightened up....the screw is itty bitty....I know there are retail jewelry stores who will do this for you free. I bought my own screwdrivers so I could change the inserted coin when I wanted. It's a very nice piece and looks beautiful on a chain. I bought a 30" chain from Amazon and looks like a piece of fine jewelry on this chain. I would recommend this to anyone...very easy to insert coin but screw is very small so be careful you don't lose...using a magnetic set of screwdrivers is best and I recommend too.

I bought these bezels for mercury dimes to make my Mom a birthday present. I bought three to make earrings and a pendant. They worked out great for this gift. I didn't want to drill holes in the coins so these bezels were a great find! Shipping was fast as always... thanks!

Think I've purchased 26 of these....well made but have to take to jeweler for installing the dime $3.50 each. Just can't trust myself with the tiny screw etc. but the finished product is really great.

My boyfriend took me on a "penny date" the first time we went out, but he gave me a dime instead. It's proven to be some good luck for me, so I bought this in order to keep it close to me at all times. I received it yesterday, fit my dime into it (it fit perfectly, I was so satisfied) but when I woke up this morning, my dime seemed a little discolored around the edges, and I had taken a picture of it the day before. I had sent a picture to my boyfriend yesterday when I put it in, and when I compared the two shots I'm pretty sure it did become discolored overnight. I wore it while I was sleeping, and I don't know too much about science, but I'm wondering if the sterling silver is causing a reaction with the copper or nickel or whatever metal my dime is made of, or maybe something else? If anyone knows, I would love to figure it out. I hope it's not the product, but I thought I would write a review to bring it to the attention of a more savvy shopper.Also, shipping is only free if you choose standard.

This is truly a lovely piece. I loved how it looked. Had no issues putting the dime in. Went to put it onto my necklace and it was broken. Not sure if this is entirely sterling silver.

Put an uncirculated mercury dime into this bezel. Looks awesome. It will be a Christmas present for a grand daughter and I hope she likes it as much as I do. Caution: Be very careful putting this piece together as you can strip the screw very easy. Might consider letting a jeweler do it. I will be purchasing more of these.

Be advised this bezel will hold a seated liberty dime but the screw will only screw in about half way. It seems the seated Liberty dime was slightly larger than the later models. It works so I'm using it but I'll be keeping an eye on the screw to make sure it stays in place.
