The toe nail clippers are very sharp and if used correctly should not tear the nail.

Are these nail clippers suitable for travel?

They are packaged in a good box that keep them stable in foam if you want to place it in the bottom or compartment of your travel bag or luggage. The will not pass the carry-on luggage. the two files are vey good for taking the sharp edge off you nails quickly.

Is this made in China?

Just got the Clipper Set and on the package it says MADE IN CHINA. I searched a long time looking for a set not made there. Disappointed. If there were better agencies, departments that actually regulated the laws they oh so quickly right up to satisfy consumers, I might feel better about buying from China. But words are only WORDS without follow through and actions.
