The slider is high-quality and solidly made, the case is also excellent. The only negative is that occasionally it isn't as perfectly smooth as I would like - also I feel that in order to get a constant, even moment I may need to buy a hand crank. I have yet to experiment with a weight on a line which might work well. If i could afford it, I'd get the motorized crank.
