Gratitude Journal for Kids

Good book for kids
I gave to my godchildren and without any coaxing, they are writing in it. They are 9 and 11 years old. Boy and girl. What better gift can you give a child then to learn to be grateful!

The format is nice. I like the idea of having the child draw a picture to accompany their writing. I was disappointed by the size though. There are only approximately 25 days worth of entry pages.

Introduced my nieces and nephew to being grateful
I bought this as an introduction to get my nieces and nephew (12, 10, 6) to get into a grateful frame of mind during Easter this year. I had to also offer a cash incentive, but I'm ok with that. The exercise got them to think about what they're grateful for. I appreciate that my brother and SIL would have to monitor the kids writing in this every day, so I gave them about 2 weeks to work on it. I wanted to introduce them to the idea of daily gratitude. That was accomplished. I'll revist this at Christmas and try again.

For adults this is fine, but children need a little prompting for reflection
Unfortunately every page is identical. It doesn't assist with critical thinking at all. For adults this is fine, but children need a little prompting for reflection. I was disappointed.

Two Stars
This wasn't a super fun or visually exciting coloring book.

My daughter loves this and it makes her stop to be thankful each day. A very good read for kids

Not worth it.
I was hoping for inspirational quotes and short stories but it all the book contains is pages with three headlines "I am grateful for" and a blank page to draw next to it. We could have done this ourself with a dollar store journal. Wasn't worth it.
