First time...will I buy again??
It's a great value in my opinion. I had no major issues, sink holes, bumps, etc. that I saw on reviews that others had. The description said it had a 12% fragrance oil load, but I did 10% fragrance oil load and I did notice some sweating and of course the only issue I had was a not so strong cold and heat throw. Out of an 8oz candle, I was able to get 43 hour burn time, and a 4oz candle gave me 23 hour burn time. I had no issue with packaging and it arrived fast. Considering this was my first time making a candle, I think it worked great for me. I'd buy again. Update: no problems with the wax. I think it's great. I've had smooth tops every time, smooth even burns, great glass adhesion. With more testing, I've been able to get rid of sweating and achieved a Higher cold and hot scent throw Absolutely happy with it! There is no problem with the wax at all. User just has to run proper tests.

Great soy 🕯️ melts beautifully and easy to work with!
I’m really happy with this soy wax. It melts easily and quickly, and when it cools down, it doesn’t get bumpy on the surface. It’s not perfectly smooth every time, but still looks very nice overall. The fragrance blends really (from candlescience) well with it, and I made some container candles in glass jars 🫙 some of them even solidified perfectly without pulling away from the glass, although that wasn’t the case for all of them. I think the quality is great for the price, and the delivery was super fast. Definitely a good value and I’ll keep using it!

My new favorite wax. No heat gun needed. Awesome scent throw. I use 8 oz straight jars with #8 cd wicks.

I swear by this wax
I've been using this specific brand of wax for almost a year now to make my container candles. After doing a bunch of research, I settled on American Soy: Midwest Soy Wax Beads because: 1. it is microwaveable - as someone just starting out, I didn't have a double boiler and needed an easy way to melt the wax in a little pyrex cup 2. it has an excellent cold throw - meaning you can leave the candle open and still smell the fragrance without lighting it 3. it can hold a lot of fragrance - I like medium-strong candle scents, and the candles I make are quite small (3oz), so I wanted my little candle tins to pack a punch! 4. it works fantastic for container candles!!! I've used this in ceramic, metal tins, and glass jars without issue Overall, this is one of the best brands of soy wax I've ever used (in my limited experience) and I'm excited to branch out and try their coconut blends! So much better for you than paraffin!!!

Great Wax
So easy to lift and pour, makes candle making much easier. The bag is the perfect size and it was so easy to lift and pour into my candle wax-melter. It melts quickly, but in my container candles it is long burning. Easy to use, easy to scent and burns clean. Will continue to purchase this for all my candle making.

Wonderful first time experience.
So it’s my first time using soy wax and this wax seems to work great. I don’t know enough about different soy wax brands to give a in depth response in comparisons but this wax seems to work great! For first time candle makers I think this would be a great start on your soy wax journey. It arrived on time and in perfect condition. Happy making!!

Good quality wax
Very nice wax to work with. The tops cool to a smooth finish, which I love. When heating it, I noticed it doesn't look clear when melted - it looks a little cloudy, but no big deal. I also noticed it didn't fully melt until 137f. It's possible my thermometer is off, I guess. The directions recommend pouring at 160f. Depending on what you use for wicks, sticky pads, and wick stabilizer, this could cause an issue. Some sticky pads can't hold on at that temp, so the wick flips. Another problem is that if you use the metal wick centering devices, the wick will slump and bend/fold in the candle because the hot temperature melts the wax holding the wick stiff. However, when I reduced the pouring temperature, to solve the high temp pouring issues, there wasn't much container adhesion after cooling. The candles do burn very nicely, and slowly. The scent throw is decent as well. I should mention that many months after pouring, frosting and crystallization was noticeable on the tops. I use essential oils, so that can just be a result of the different types I use. The frosting doesn't affect the burning quality. If you make candles to sell, maybe don't make too many in advance, to avoid crystallization of the tops. Overall, I would buy this wax again. I love how smooth the tops are after they cool, and that I don't need to use my heat gun.
