An Introduction to the Science of the Hadith: Kitab Mar'rifat Anwa' 'ilm Al-Hadith (Great Books of Islamic Civilization) Paperback – June 1, 2006

The book is good in its original form and a great introduction to see how humans come to invent sciences to fulfill their method of verification. The translation is a bit rough and it could have been done in a better way. Despite that, it's a nice thing to read for academic purposes.
