We use these to prevent clumping of pedicure salt. Stuck to the inside of the bucket lid, they work perfectly and last just shy of the lifespan of the five gallon bucket of salt.I gave four stars instead of five because the casing closure is slightly less durable than I would like. Once, I tapped it against the side of the bucket to remove salt stuck to it. The case opened and dumped all of the beads into the salt! While the beads did not alter the chemical composition of the salt, they were almost impossible to sift out and were noticed by many clients.Finally, I did not get the opportunity to try to reactivate the silica gel, as I left the salon before it was needed.

These things work like a charm. They're my go to for my ammo boxes, however, I use them in my closets as well. Extremely easy to dry out, a great time and money saver.

I like the ease of use and the moisture that they removed, they seamed to work good. The only problem I had was using the microwave to dry them out for reuse. The cloth packs when drying would be wet on the bottom and you have to turn them over and dry more and you have to continue this process for MINUTES. You have to be careful not to over dry because the silica will turn black and then they are useless. It is hard to judge when this will happen while you are trying to dry them out, may have just been me or my process??? Either way I have 3 left and will probably not buy again. They are nice but hard to dry for reuse.

Oddly high quality for silica bags. I guess I just wasn’t expecting much, just needed some silica bags of a certain size and these fit the ticket. Was kinda surprised at how much effort went into making these. You will have to recharge them from time to time but these should last a lifetime or more.
