Cats may indeed be capable of great mindfulness, but we are thinking beings too. In my own case, unfortunately, a being who thinks rather too much." In the latest installment of the Dalai Lama’s Cat series, His Holiness’s Cat ("HHC") is on a mission: to think less, to experience more, to live in the moment. She soon learns the proper phrase for this, being mindful, or, a concept better known to her as the power of meow. What ensues is a journey to discover her own true nature, to gain a deeper understanding of her mind, and to experience life’s greatest joy, the here and now. Throughout, there are encounters with familiar inhabitants of Dharamsala, as well as a whole new cast of characters: a senior exec from one of Silicon Valley’s most famous social media companies (hint: the name rhymes with "litter"), the Pope’s beloved dog (who shares a shockingly similar title: HHD, His Holiness’s Dog), and a public health inspector who threatens to have our poor narrator banned from the Himalaya Book Café. In this follow-up to the Dalai Lama’s Cat and the Art of Purring , readers escape to the enchanting and exotic world of the Dalai Lama’s monastery in the Himalayas, and take a peek inside the mind of a delightfully imperfect creature on the path to enlightenment. By accompanying HHC on her journey, you will learn new ways to relate to your own mind: slowing down, finding peace, and abiding in the boundless radiance and benevolence that is your own true nature. Loved how a meditation and guidelines were provided at the end. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very well worth it *by D***K on June 10, 2026* Each of the 6 books in this wonderful, wise, and witty series, including this one, was fantastic and very well worth it. I enjoyed them all and wish for a 7th. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Transformative! *by A***A on November 20, 2024* I started reading this "installment" of HHC at 3:00 am one night when I couldn't sleep. I was already a fan of David Michie's writing, but within minutes of the opening sequence of this third book, I was laughing out of control. Mr. Michie puts you IN the scene, like a flea on HHC's head! The action comes alive! But that wasn't all that happened: as a practicing Tibetan Buddhist, the subtle teachings Mr. Michie slides in had a transformative effect. First in my dreams, then in waking life. I have been practicing Lojong, "Mind Training," for three years and am familiar with the magical effect the teachings have on my psyche, "waking me up" in the midst of self-centered actions: "The Power of Meow," raised my awareness to a whole new level, inspiring my commitment to being of service to others. ## Frequently Bought Together - The Dalai Lama's Cat and the Power of Meow - The Dalai Lama's Cat and the Art of Purring - The Dalai Lama's Cat and The Four Paws of Spiritual Success (Dalai Lama's Cat Series) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/15930088-the-dalai-lamas-cat-and-the-power-of-meow](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/15930088-the-dalai-lamas-cat-and-the-power-of-meow) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-11-07*
