"L" button doesn't work

Tried several of these on Amazon, the "Wavebird" clones, and this one was the only one that worked 100%.

This may be a good controller for an emergency spare, but be warned that the control stick has some major accuracy issues. It seems to lock to 8 directions as opposed to the 360 degree range of motion that the original Gamecube controller had. This can make some games, such as Super Mario Sunshine, extremely unpleasant to play with these controllers. I have some additional issues with the build of this controller; in addition to accuracy issues, the joystick seems very stiff compared to the original gamecube controllers, the A button is very shallow and seems like it could get wedged under the controller shell, and the B button appears to be lop-sided.The positives I can say about this controller are the X and Y buttons seem fine, the L and R buttons are analogue and behave as I expected, and the overall shape is ergonomic and feels close to the original gamecube controller.Overall the positives are not enough to make this a decent controller. I would only recommend this if you need a cheap spare to give to a fourth player for very casual games

works well, sometimes goves trouble initially connecting and needs to be turned on and off a few times. Otherwise works well. Analog sticks are a little tight though.

Aside from it being functional, it's a cheap, cheap , CHEAPLY built thing. The plastic is the lowest quality you can find, and there's the weird feeling in the buttons and joystick. I guess for the price you're not going to get anything better, but that doesn't make this product "good". Still, it at least functions.

It technically works. But the buttons are sticky. The joystick has a lot of resistance. The D pad is unreliable. So are L+R. There's significant lag. I'd rather just sit close to the TV.

I like the fact that I don’t have to sit so close to the TV to use.

This controller is awesome. I have no complaints, my button presses happen when I press them, whenever I press them. I'm likely to buy 2 more of these just to have 4 total. I have another one (the black version) as well.
