This is my second purchase of the satin caps. I have a very small head so, what I called the “adjustable bra strap“ it’s perfect for my head, it keeps it from slipping it is exactly in the same place when I wake up, that it was when I went to sleep. Due to some crappy health problems I started losing hair very rapidly and my hair became very porous and Felt like straw. I paid so much money and searched high and low for special oils special full-time light therapy, all kinds of stupid crap. Nothing helped like this did. It is so comfortable so soft and so simple. I almost hate myself for not inventing it on my own lol. For those of you that did inventors, you have no idea how thankful I am, somethings so small and trivial to most people, you have no idea how much it has changed my life and my self-esteem. Don’t sleep on this purchase, just do it. For reference on my hair type, I have curly long hair that was very coarse but it is getting much better it’s been two months and I can already see a difference as well as 2 inches of hair growth which to some people sound so stupid but to me it was so so exciting. Again even if you don’t have any kind of problems this helps your hair and your skin, it’s antimicrobial which was a huge deal to me. It holds hairstyles for Extra days because it prevents outside oils and dust from getting in your hair while you’re sleeping, so worth it. Out of everything I’ve purchased on Amazon and every review I’ve done this is by far my favorite product. And I have done a lot of reviews. Update on Thursday, April 13, 2023- I recently got a terrible infection on my forehead and I could not figure out what caused it for the life of me but it continued to get worse and worse as the days went by and the doctor seemed perplexed so they did a sleep study and I brought everything I would generally bring to go to sleep a.k.a. my pajamas my bonnet, my double cleanse etc. The only thing that has changed about my routine is this new bonnet which claims to be silk on the inside… I can definitively tell you it is not silk that does not mean that this is a bad product I love this product but it carries bacteria especially and that very first fold so clean your bonnets just as much per week as you would clean your towels and your bedding/pillowcases. I have a severe staff infection on my forehead exactly where that bonnet sits and it’s due to me not washing it enough and to the fact that that first layer carries so much bacteria especially if you’re going to bed with your hair wet with a conditioning treatment on top of it. You have to think about it in the sense of when you wash your hands and put them under the hand dryer for three minutes they are dry your skin is not very penetrable at that point but if your skin is constantly wet because you’re going to bed with wet hair, your floor head or anywhere that that wetness touches keeps your pores open and makes your skin more penetrable for bacteria. Learn from my stupid self and clean your bonnet and your pillowcase just as much as you would clean your hair, trust me it’s embarrassing walking around looking like your for head is ready to give birth to a golf ball. I can't stand the feeling of the scrunchy elastic part from OTHER bonnet. So i went and got a XLarge size hoping to feel better on my forehead but it still feel tight and leave indent marking... while the inside of the bonnet is just too big for my type 3, bust length, fine hair so they move around a lot while i sleep. My curl are having a party inside these bonnet and frizz the heck up because i wanted to feel comfortable. For awhile i thought i have to make peace with tight bonnet so hair wont move around or sleep comfortably but end up with frizzy mane in the morning. THEN i found this one. The straight adjustable (not scrunch up at the adjustable band) help it feels so soft and smooth on my head. Medium is rather tight on my head but the large one is just perfect! my curl stay tight and they don't party inside the bonnet, they SLEEP! Next morning i found almost no frizz. None of my curl are hang over! They don't slide and i'm actually comfortable wearing them.

I like my purchase! It’s very soft and comfortable and stays on my head. The adjustable strap definitely helps with that. I guess some would consider my head big lol and I feel the cap fit great IF just a tad bit on the bigger side- NOT a critique, just an observation in case anyone is wondering if it’s small. I think they make it a TAD BIT on the larger size BECAUSE it is adjustable, and you can tighten or loosen it however you want it. The only critique I do have is the band part is not lined with satin. I took off 1 star for this. The inside of the cap is lined with satin but the satin stops at the band. So the edges of your hair are not protected by the satin, but just whatever the regular/other material is. I have no idea why they would make the product like this, but what I do is put on the cap, adjust if needed, then fold up the band of the cap so that my edges are covered by the satin. This makes it a bit bulky but whatever. Also, I did a gentle hand wash on it when I first received it, and I have not had any bleeding on my pillowcases. So while the band issue is weird, it’s not a bad purchase at $11! I’m overall mostly satisfied.

I need this for covering my head when I'm doing a castor oil treatment for my scalp. Prior, I had been using a shower cap, which I hated in every single way. For one, it was huge and stayed puffed up above my head like the Chef Boyardee icon no matter what (I never put my hair inside of it, which would have drawn it down. I only needed it to cover my head [not my hair], and I would get too cold in the winter if I put my hair inside of it). For another, the shower cap was only available in juvenil-ish prints which reminded me of diapers with bright patterns. But worse, it was horribly uncomfortable when worn overnight because the elastic was too tight (and my head is a medium size). It was like torture every single time and I hated it!!! But this bonnet was incredibly comfortable as soon as I put it on and I knew I made a good decision to buy it!!! Wish I had done it so long ago!!! Adjusting the tightness was ridiculously easy!!! I figured that since the plastic shower cap was untenable, I would have to just deal with the castor oil soaking through this fabric bonnet, but so far, it's not an issue at all --bonus, I wasn't expecting that!! I got the light gray and yes, it's fashionable and doesn't make you feel like you're wearing a diaper on your head!!! I can't believe the comfort, though!!! As soon as these go on sale, I'm going to buy the navy striated one!!! I love this bonnet so much that I know I will do the castor oil treatments more often now, which I'm also happy about because I had fallen back on them since I hated that shower cap so much. I highly recommend this bonnet, it's a great find!!!

So far the only one I’ve found that doesn’t feel super tight and is not irritating at all. Works great to keep hair covered after placing minoxidil for the night .

I had high hopes for this cap. I was torn between this one and another one from a different Company. This one appeared in the pictures to be wide and a little longer (slouchy) which I thought would accommodate all of my locs and my big head.😄 When I first put the cap on for the night, my first thoughts were "why is the adjustment strap on the outside of the cap where everyone can see it" and "this isn't slouchy at all". I was expecting it to fit like a "slouchy" beanie cap NOT a "cuffless" beanie cap. (Note: If you're into beanies, you know exactly what I'm talking about). So because the cap didn't slouch, I had to pile all of my locs on the top of my head to get it on. The opening didn't give enough to fit all my locs any other way. My locs practically fill up the entire top of the cap so I'm not even sure how long this cap will even work for me. FYI--If you happen to grease your scalp or moisturize your hair at night two or three times a week, the cap does NOT stop any oils or product from seeping through (Even if you let the oils soak in before putting your cap on)...I found this out when I fell asleep in my recliner watching tv and woke up with a huge "wet" looking stain on my cap where my head touched the recliner. Neither the inside satin lining, outside cotton material, or recliner were damp, wet, or oily to the touch. There was just a very noticeably stained area on the outside cotton of the grey cap I chose to wear that night. I suffer from migraines more often now so that my head has become very sensitive to anything tight being around it so wearing a scarf to bed at night is no longer an option. For whatever reason, when I wear a bonnet it looses it's elasticity after a while and the darn thing ends up covering my eyes by morning. I was hopeful that an adjustable cap will give me the flexibility to not only accommodate my head and locs but also lessen the pressure before or during a migraine episode. I was also hopeful the satin lining would help keep moisture in my locs. I'm not sure if my locs held some of its moisture because of the satin lining or my new haircare regime with homemade scalp oil and hair mist. But a whole lot of moisture definitely ended up in the cotton part of cap itself. I will continue to use these two caps I ordered for now until I find another option. I don't think I will buy anymore from this manufacturer unless they totally redesign this cap to stop the staining from oil/product seepage, lengthen the cap so it slouches to accommodate people with bigger and/or longer hair, and relocate the adjustable strap to the inside of the cap so it looks more polished.

Barely leaves a mark on my forehead, very stretchy and easy to adjust, so soft, makes my hair silky smooth the next morning and protects it well! Highly recommend wearing on a satin pillow given the outer material though.

It's good and light weight, doesn't pull my edges to create baldness. It slips a bit.

I love this. I got the grey coloured one because some reviews said the darker colours bled. It's the most comfortable hair cap I've ever worn to sleep. So adjustable. So soft. And my hair is actually softer and shinier in the morning!

Doesn't leave marks on my forehead like I was worried about. There is a way to tighten it in the back which is quite useful. It is warm and comfortable to wear and I'm very happy with it.
