Lights work well
The lights and app are easy to work with and customize. These lights only work with 2.4 ghz wifi signal so if you’re running 5.0ghz wifi, this won’t work. As some other reviewers mentioned, sometimes the lights do flash but I’ve only run into this issue if you don’t regularly turn on the lights. I have one of these bulbs in a spot that we’re never at so the light flickers and I need to reset it but the regular use lights work without a problem.

If it works... it's good
This review is a little skewed. The lights themselves are good...... if it works. Bought a four pack during prime days and loved them. So much so I bought 4 pack of candle opera lights to try for our coach lights by our driveway. They worked great and easy to set up. Ordered a single can light (above item) to replace the final remaining light on our porch over our swing and received an open box/returned item...not new. Not properly packaged on the inside. Just a used instruction book, adaptor, light .... all on top of protective packaging. Box not sealed in anyway, contrary to the other lights I received by the same company. When the lights work they are nice. However, I now know why this one was a return. Will not stay connected after the initial setup. I am now returning it. Sooo, future buyers beware. You may receive a defective, returned/open box item. This review is more about the vendor/supplier then the product. I would give the light(s) 5 stars...... so far. I would give the fulfiller 1 start for selling a known faulty, returned merchandise as new to unsuspecting buyers. Amazon is making good on it so there is that.

Amazing Product
The media could not be loaded. Hard to get video/photos but they are amazing! Make sure the kit you buy comes with the hub, you want them to stay connected even if you are away. Or they would be looking for your phone. The app has amazing features, full colors, scenes which can be edited, or create your own scene. They do reach 6500K when I compared to my 5000K in another light but adjustable to 2500K and brightness separately. Same goes for all colors, brightness adjustable. I see I can make a scene or group them, but I liked seeing them all separate for the sec lol!! So everyone complained about them not linking to the app or gateway and 110% Full of IT! As I was installing each one my phone was notifying me to add the device, the gateway just has to be added so the app must transfer control with instructions from the phone to the hub. Now they can be controlled anywhere I have internet. And yes, the Hub notified my phone to connect too. So either the previous reviews are people that don’t know what to do, or the company upgraded the product and App because I remember seeing another review with an app that had almost no options and I have so many options I probably will never use them all or have a need to. Love it, guess they could be cheaper but they are a real 110v light just like you buy at Home Depot with 1,000 more features. I paid $99 $25/light, but a kit get the gateway free.

I like the lights but...
I needed to replace a light in my kitchen. If I'm going to swap one, I'll swap all with smart lights. I liked how easy it was to install. The app and setup wasn't all that difficult. I did find I had an issue getting the devices to show online in Alexa. They were there... but showed unresponsive. I found I had to add the lights to the gateway in the app. After that, I can get Alexa to do whatever. Now, here's the stuff I'm not a fan of. If I do one command, I'm good. If I do more than one in a short period, the device goes offline and Alexa can't find it. It's almost as if the device communication shuts down for 5 seconds or so after a command is given. Not a fan, but not a deal breaker. I can make Alexa set the lights to whatever color, but that's about it. I have to go to the app to get to the fancy stuff with the color flashing and all that. What I wish was possible, is to control an entire group rather than go to each device and make the settings. With that, I also feel like if these are sold as a group and I want the lights to dance to music, it should change all lights and not just the one device I'm making changes to in the app. If there was a group to control, I can make them all dance. By only making those changes to one light at a time, only one light dances. Of all my smart devices, these are the only ones where an can't control an entire group in the app. A few kinks I wish were possible, but all in all, I'm happy with them so far.

Convenient to set the room ambience...
I have had some time to experienced these LED lights and I think they are awesome, well made and easy to install. Everything you need is in the box. Since they are LED lights, they consume very little energy. I replaced these with the current ones in my office because I wanted some light effects and these fit the bill nicely. The LED lights can be controlled via phone app or voice-controlled. Be sure to leave the light switch that controls these lights on at all time or else you won’t be able to turn them on as the power is basically cut off. Yes, they are pricey but having the convenience of voice-control and be able to set the ambience according to your mood is priceless.

Lighting is good, smart-life functionality is lack-luster.
Sometimes the lights don't work well with my smart home methods (I use google home). Everything else is working fine, so I don't think it is because of google, but rather due to the smart-life app, which I find to have low functionality, options, and a high learning curve. The light are also sometimes unresponsive, and I have to make multiple requests to make things work. I would have purchased a more costly brand if I knew I would have these issues. Other than that, the lighting has a pleasant appearance and is cool to play with when working.
