Delta Faucet Ara 14 Series Single-Function Chrome Shower Valve Trim Kit, Shower Handle, Delta Shower Trim Kit, Chrome T14067 (Valve Not Included)

Our contractor was a little confused, but after a trouble-shooting session together things came together. I absolutely LOVE this tub faucet. Having this faucet allows you to "save" your temperature setting. You turn the second handle to your desired temperature and then each time you turn the water on the temperature is right where you want it. I can appreciate how it may be considered to be a "little thing," but after a long stressful day it is so lovely to have something just the way I want it. I LOVE it.

Our plumber was surprised at the price and how nice this was after he kept suggesting switch to Delta due to the ease of changing out the cartridge if/when problems arise. After researching online & w/ other plumber friends... this was really the best idea although I gravitate to Moen designs.We DIY installed after the plumber got new lines in and pulled/twisted max hot water allowance on the cartridge- so all we had to do was put it on when the rest of shower was complete.Easy, nice, sturdy, will use the same rough in valve (delta/universal) now we can just replace hardware style & cartridge if we ever need to instead of opening the wall and replacing the entire system.Went on the cheep, got chrome & sprayed. Happy with this purchase.

Handle is very high quality, solid to hold. I expect it to last a lifetime. Seems like hotel, commercial type quality.

UPDATE after 6 months of use - it's working very dependable so far, which is a plus, upping the review to 4 stars.I like the design, I think that the photos online look better than the real product. The outer temperature adjustment lever is plastic, the gap between levers is uneven (tried to re-do it 3 times). The inside temp limit setting feels super flimsy... The best part on the entire trim is the square trim itself - it's high quality metal material...I only wish that this Ara trim would not convey Delta low quality. I was convicted I'd go with "German engineering" in the shower upgrade, but got sold on Delta in home improvement store. So gave up the "silky move" and ceramic cartridge to 1960's technology. It looks good but as soon as you touch it, you know it's Delta.

Good quality with a heavy handle. Make sure you purchase the delta universal multi choice valve if you don’t already have this valve installed in your shower. Highly recommend!

The combination of trim and included valve works well. It accurately remembers the temperature setting when turning on and off. Minor movements to temp and pressure handles yield expected changes. Feels high quality. Recommended.

I've always used Moen so was hesitant with changing to Delta. I'm happy with this though. We've had it for a few months and it's worked great. It's wonderful to be able to lower the water pressure and save water while also being able to change temperature. I take showers with my young child and can easily and quickly change temperature depending on which one of us the water is on. Looks great too... looks more high-end than the price.
