Can never go wrong with Canoe. Very pleasing aroma.

Love this stuff. First whiff 60 years ago got me and I’ve enjoyed it even more than Old Spice. Classic, timeless, memorable. Great impression in board meetings.

I bought the Canoe for my husband and he likes it and it smells good.

This doesn’t smell like what I remember it smelling like in the 60s when I wore it every day, but it’s still nice and I wear it anyway.

Good experience

First: The Canoe made today is not by the original Dana whose assets have changed hands a few times. The original Canoe that most men used 50+ years ago was a Cologne, which is a complex, painstaking distillation of many ingredients akin to perfumes. Expensive to produce. Never to be found again. This version of Canoe is an Eau de Toilette, which is why it has little lasting power like a cologne. They don’t make Canoe cologne anymore. But this new ‘Dana’ never represented it as cologne and I knew that when I bought the first bottle here, as having a weaker Canoe is better than nothing. When the first bottle was nearly gone I used the ‘buy-again’ method for a second bottle. I just opened it to find it a completely different scent, sickly sweet like candy, and definitely NOT Canoe. Sadly, for those seeking the nostalgia of the original Canoe cologne, it’s long gone. Now, like me, you may be content with an Eau de Toilette version but, in fairness, I just wanted to provide a heads-up that the ‘Dana’ quality control for even this weak version apparently can’t be counted on to deliver the correct product.
