PetSafeHappy Ride Dog Booster Seat for Car/Truck/SUV, Tan, up to 18 lb with Headrest Strap

I purchased the smaller size for my 7lb dog about 1.5 years ago. Its very sturdy, super easy to set up, and my dog stays put. The features I like most about that seat and the large one of the same brand and model:* Easy to set up* Sturdy frame and deep seat with side walls that go up above their chest. I don't feel comfortable with seats where there is nothing to keep my dogs from launching forward if I had to stop abruptly.* Secure (car seat belt secures through the back side, strap on dog seat goes around back of car seat to keep it from swinging forward, and another strap goes around the head rest and is adjustable). The large size comes with 2 "seat belts" to hook to their harness (NEVER the collar!).* Collapsible. Unlike the foam walled and seated beds that cost double and triple the amount of this car seat, I can collapse this for storage. I have limited space to store stuff.* Washable. The interior plaid piece comes off and is washable. I don't know about the outer shell. The fabric is pretty durable. I put a soft baby blanket on the inside as extra protection for the dog seat liner and cushioning.* Great size. I can fit my 7.5 lb dog and my 10 lb dog in it (she is a shitzu mix so she is long) and they can both lay down in it and its still roomy. Not cramped.* My dogs LOVE it! They can see out the window, lay down and chew on a bully stick, nap comfortably...its really an awesome car seat for my dogs and my peace of mind!Things that could be better:* I don't think the interior liner is waterproof. That would be a great upgrade if not.* The seat cushion is not all that cushy. Not a big negative as I put in a baby blanket and its fine. Would be nice if this was waterproof fabric too.* Would be nice if the top of the frame had some bumper cushion in it so if dogs rested their chin on it, it would be softer.That's about it! I purchased a car seat that was $95 and had a cushy back and seat but I promptly returned it. Even though it had thousands of great reviews, I didn't like it because I don't have space to store it if not in use, the fabric on the back and seat was cheap and thin and I saw it getting torn over the years. Even though it was an extra large, the seat area would not have fit my dogs on it comfortably, and because of the low wall, one could roll off it either when sleeping, they shifted around or I had to put on the brakes. Plus I thought overall for the price it could have been better constructed.For $45, I think I have a practical yet very comfortable, sturdy and safe solution to tow my furbabies around in with the PetSafe Happy Ride car seat!

I ordered the Solvit Tagalong Pet Booster Seat for my Chihuahua, Zeus. He weighs a whopping 4 pounds and loves to go in the car, but he's so small, that any bump, any turn, sends him sliding or trying to hold on. I cannot drive with him in my lap either, so he hasn't gotten to go as much as he'd like (and I'd like). I ordered this and it came in the day that he had to go to the vet to get neutered. Let me just say that this was a lifesaver!First, the booster seat is beyond easy to put together. You simply slide in the bar on the back side of the seat and then Velcro in the liner (which is really soft). It then simply goes around the bottom of the seat and the headrest, the bottom strap is adjustable so that you have a snug fit on your seat. It puts the dog up high enough that he/she can actually see out the window (we have a Hummer and the windows are high in it, and he can actually see out now), and it is comfortable and roomy.On the way back from the vet, he was able to lay down, still see me, and feel safe enough to not be trying to be on my lap. In fact, he curled up and went to sleep. I brought it inside to show my husband when he got home, and Zeus wouldn't stay out of it. He sleeps in it if I leave it out of the car now. I even took it in the last time we went to the vet and showed them (she has a lot of clients with smaller dogs).This booster seat is just awesome. It's very well made, the liner comes out and is easily washable, and it's really easy to put in the car. It is also a great thing to have to keep your dog safe in the car and out of your lap so you can drive. If you have a smaller dog (or even a bigger one) that loves to ride too, I would recommend this to anyone and do constantly. It's not much at all and it is well worth the money to know that your baby is safe in the car and you don't have to worry about them sliding all over or falling in the floor.

Our dog, a terrier loved it right away. High enough to view the world, soft enough to sleep most of 800 miles. No hard edges at top of basket to irritate dog’s head or neck. Don’t be afraid to buy if you have a medium small dog or a cat. Comes off easily at the journey’s end. Made well. Would not look further unless you have a larger dog.

Es una buena opción para transportar a mi perrita, a ella le encanta pasear y veo que se siente segura ir en la transportadora. Definitivamente la recomiendo.
