Tie is beautiful and accurate to the color and description.

A while back I purchased a Van Heusen dress shirt in " Purple Velvet " color. It's about as purple as purple can get. I _never_ thought I'd be able to find a necktie to match it, but the "Purple Stripe" DiBanGu necktie is a *PERFECT* match for the shirt. Wow! As for the tie, it may be made of silk, but it has some thickness and heft to it, and the minute you pull it out of the box you can clearly see that this is a high-quality necktie, and I'm rather impressed with it. The color is sharp and the craftsmanship clean. Striped ties are kind of 50:50 (IMO)... many are 'meh' or unimaginative to look at (still leaps and bounds better than paisley!), but others can border on remarkable. This particular "Purple Stripe" DiBanGu tie falls in the latter category, and is a classic business "power tie" that can't help but be noticed. With regard to the rest of the set (handkerchief, cuff links, and tie bar), I'll never use any of it, so it doesn't really matter to me. That said, I didn't think the other items lived up to the tie. The handkerchief is (most likely) made from the same silk material as the tie, and thus is not a linen type fabric like a handkerchief ought to be; it's thin & flimsy. The tie bar "looks" like it's made of pot metal and is ultra thin and unimpressive to look at. Lastly, the cuff links are the worst of all (IMO). Also, the ones I received don't look like the ones in the photos (they're actually better). Mine are purple with one (and only one) white stripe in the center. Fortunately, I didn't buy this set because I was looking for a "set". I bought it solely for the tie, and with that I am quite pleased. The rest is meaningless to me. My 5-star rating is based solely on the tie alone.

Color matched my son's wedding great. The length was great for my son. Great tie. Great price. Will never pay box store price again. I am buying more ties from Amazon.

Purchased for my father in law who has every color tie you can think of . He is a minister. We Never saw him in a emerald color and chose this one. The tie itself is Very nice but I couldn’t give this 5 stars because the cuff links came apart. I saw they were hot glued together with metal so I had to do some art before giving him the gift. I Would expect better quality for price. Didn’t have time to return because it was a gift and no time.
