It's very pretty and was not heavy at all. I'm a big girl (size18/2x, 38 in. Waist) and it fit perfect. I was worried it would not fit , but I had enough room to tie a bow. It really made a big difference on my look . My dress looked so much better with this belt.

It was a little longer than expected but worked great for the color affect to my daughter's maternity dress pics. We bought all of thr outfit from Amazon and I must say she looked amazing we bought the tiera dress and this band plus dads shirt and pins from Amazon. One of my best purchases yet! Love it all
