I have purchased 6 of these shelves & find them to be exactly as described. Make sure to follow the instructions re: waiting for the adhesive to "set" before placing items on the shelves & make SURE where you want them when you place the adhesive pads, as they are VERY sticky & not the easiest to take back off. I have had mine for at least a year & have had to remove them to have new replacement windows, at this point, the adhesive stickers would not come off intact & are no longer usable. I haven't been able to find replacement adhesive stickers yet but will keep searching as I really want to put my shelves back up. I had all of mine completely covered with potted plants year round.

The reason I am rating it 5 stars is because it is holding my plants and sticking to the window well and looks exactly like the online pictures. But I want to point out some things you want to be aware of before purchasing! So first things first, as many others have mentioned, these work best for small plants. My cactus was weighing the shelf down and I didn’t know if it could hold it so make sure your plants are not too big or heavy for this shelf. Also, I can no longer open my window because the plants weigh it down too much so it won’t stay open. You shouldn’t buy this shelf if you frequently close your blinds or curtains because you cannot due to the plants being in the way (which is not much of a problem for me because I like natural light). Overall this product is a great one and looks very nice in my room but these are just some things to be aware of before buying!

The sticky pads work well if they don't fall apart, which is what mine did. I came into my office to find the shelf and plants on it had all come down because one of the pads fell apart. The screwed in piece that is adhered to the pad for sturdiness some how (poor manufacturing) came apart and caused everything to fall. There is no way to glue the pad to the screw circle piece because of the stickyness of the pad. The shelf is worthless right now unless I screw it into a wall, not it's point, or I can find replacement sticky pads.

I bought these shelves a few months back to hold my plants. I followed the instructions and had zero problems. They have held up so well and my plants and pots aren't always the lightest. I think following the instructions is a huge factor in how well they hold up.I'm currently working on moving and when I take the shelves down I will make an update about how easy they came off and if I can reuse the stickers

I put this high in a window to keep my cats from munching on my plants. I fit 3 pots on it, and it's working great so far. I wish it was wider (or longer?) so I could fit more plants, but perhaps that would be too much weight. There are longer ones available online, but they are too long (or wide) for my window.

It is functionally well designed. However, the adhesive pads stick up quite noticeably behind the shelf. Most of the images provided on the listing do not show this. The only place I found it was if you scroll down to the installation instructions. If I hadn’t needed it right away I would have sent it back. Surely you could’ve come up with a design that doesn’t show. Or make the back taller to hide it. At least be honest and have your pictures actually reflect what the product will look like in use.

Extra adhesive pads would be nice as one of the pads is starting to come undone after only 3 months.

I installed the way it’s supposed to. Waited 24 hrs to put stuff in, in 2 weeks the glue is coming off, the shelves are useless. I only put 2 cm Kokedama plants.
