Love this powder! Terrific flavor, easy to use, no clumping. I bought this to try and mimic Starbucks Banana Protein drink and it came pretty darn close after adding a vanilla protein powder. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy again!

I like this powder for making a protein shake with a frother (not a blender). I use unflavored whey protein powder, so I add other ingredients for flavor. I prefer the unflavored whey to avoid the artificial sweeteners in most flavored protein powders. Of course, fresh banana is best if you have a blender handy, but when I only have a frother, this powder is great for providing a bit of sweetness and flavor without adding sugar. I think it tastes good, but I took off one star because it does clump somewhat. That doesn't really bother me (although it might bother some people).

I decided to bake banana nut bread to give as gifts at holiday time. Then I neglected to buy enough bananas to fulfill my recipe needs as well as early enough to give them enough time to ripen for baking. My solution was this 100% organic dehydrated banana powder. Assuming three bananas per loaf, and using the enclosed scoop equaling one scoop per 1/4th of a banana; that would be 12 scoops. The container contains 22 scoops. I used 11 scoops in each batch and was able to bake two 5 X 8 inch loaves from each jar of powder. My banana nut bread was a great success and the intensity of the flavor was perfect. I baked six loaves from three jars of powder and everyone loved them. Fresh bananas would have been much less expensive but I also didn't need to worry about the bananas over-ripening, if I needed to bake my recipe over a span of several days without needing repeated trips to the grocery store. It's a wonderful product and I can't wait to try some of the other flavors.

Does not mix well and does not add much flavor.

It’s ok, I use it in my protein shakes to add some banana flavor with less calories than a banana but it’s bit off tasting. It does the trick to offset the chalky protein powder but I’m not sure I’d buy it again.

I was skeptical of banana powder but after reading about different products I chose this one since it contains only banana fruit. I use it for smoothies. I mix it with pnut butter powder and a small bit of honey, then add kefir or plain yogurt and stir well - I use water to thin to desired consistency. Will definitely buy again, the smell is good and the flavor tastes like bananas!
