speed and steering is not proportional. it's full right/left or full forward/reverse. steering is recentered by a spring return when power is stopped to steering motor. the model itself and suspension is nice. converting it to flysky with arduino and l298n to give it some extra features and fpv. very basic model not really worth upgrading but for a mini project it will fit my requirements and be fun. wish it had a servo for steering.

Surprisingly durable and great controls for an indoor toy. Despite intricate suspension set up its survived drives off the couch, coffee table and stairs. It’s really a blast and one of my favorite buys for my kids.

Our son loved this truck and enjoyed driving it indoors and outdoors. The lights looked cool and though it wasn't incredibly strong it could make it over smaller obstacles. Sadly, it started having issues I think 6 days after he got it! Reverse no longer works for very long on a battery charge. He has to charge it frequently.

i have purchased lots of these kind of trucks this is by far the worst one to date XINGRUI 1:18 RC Military Truck, 5 min?????? maybe Min Playtime Remote Control Car, 2.4Ghz 4WD none-Off-Road Vehicle is not to scale might not even be good for part's no fun at all no power for multiple moter vehicle's looks cool but wont get the job done

Try as I might, I just couldn't get the frequencies paired to start and run it. Idk maybe it's just defective but I'm shipping it back regardless and won't ever buy another one like it. Did not even come with a Manual or Battery as promoted (no battery for the truck whatsoever). Shoddy company
