Great bucket for ash! Effective and looks great!

It’s a bucket. Works as advertised. Generally a single burn in our wood stove takes 3 logs over a few hours. I can clean out the ash from such a burn 3 - 4 times before emptying this smaller size bucket. The handle is a little fiddly and can come undone if you aren’t careful as the formed “loop” which attaches it can slip through the sheet metal ear at the right angle. Doesn’t happen while carrying. Good fit for regular use during the winter months so long as you empty regularly. Our house is small and my disposal area is down narrow stairs so a larger bucket would have been an annoyance. Matches the matte finish of the stove as well.

Exactly as described. The size is great. I was pleasantly surprised that with the lid on after I put fireplace ashes in, it didn't smell like a bucket of ash.
