RMR-86 Pro Contractor Grade Mold Stain & Mildew Stain Remover Cleaning Solution, Professional Quality Formula, 1 Gallon

I don’t write product reviews but had to. I have been fighting mold and mildew in my 60’s tile shower. I used every highly advertised grocery store product and scrubbed only to get it “better”. The scrub brush developed its own layer of mildew. I used RMR-86 and was amazed! No scrubbing. Black mold and mildew disappeared. I water sprayed all surfaces. I sprayed a few stubborn spots and done. It wasn’t just better, the grout was white. It looks so fresh! It seemed pricy and I wavered at the price. WORTH EVERY PENNY!

Works great! I have a tiled shower and the mildew grew so dark it could not be cleaned with normal household detergents and scrubbing. I sprayed this on the stains and within minutes it was back to normal. There is a strong odor of chlorine, but it subsided within hours after I rinsed the shower out. Definitely worth the purchase.

The item worked as advertised. It was the best item we've used so far to clean mold and mildew on our patio pavers. As it has been a few years and it was quite bad, 1 gallon only cleaned a portion of the job. We also found that we needed to go over the area with a light spray and did brush the surface with a firm scrub broom. For future cleaning, if not allowed to get so bad, it would clearly not need as much effort. I will be purchasing more of this product as it really does work well. My only complaint was not with delivery but with the packaging. While the gallon does have a seal, it doesn't hold the contents well and it leaked in transport. The box the rmr 86 product is in has arrows and is clearly marked as to which was up. The Amazon warehouse placed the box containing the 1 gallon jug on its side into another box along with other items I ordered. There was a sticker on the outside indicating a liquid was in the larger box but no directional indication. The product leaked. Ate through the inner box and was starting to soak the outer. Thankfully nothing was ruined

This worked great underneath the house and really faded the dark stains on the wood making it look a lot newer. The wood had some dark stains on it from years of age and it "bleached" them out and made the wood more consistent looking. I was afraid it would leave an odor in the house since I applied heavier than I was really supposed to, but after a couple of days, could not smell at all.

It is a great stain and mildew removing product however in transit the jug got damaged and had a nasty leak. ruined the boxes and I lost much of the product. When I tried to report it they wanted me to ship it back to them. Here's my question... If they can't ship it to me without it getting a leak how am I supposed to send it back with no box and have it not leak more? Whatever... I am just keeping the 12 ounces there is left in the jug and moving on with my life. The product is amazing and I love it. Don't breathe in the fumes, it is strong. I will purchase again and hope they package it better next time.

Quickly, easily, and thoroughly removed mold stains after I applied the RMR 141 to kill the mold between my 1940s tub and tile surround. I'm very sensitive to fumes, and this didn't set off any alarms. So much better than the many bleach-type products that force me of the house to catch my breath. Wearing vinyl gloves, I applied this generously with a saturated cotton makeup pad, followed by vigorous application of a dedicated toothbrush to reach into the crevices and remove stubborn stains. Very effective.

I wouldn’t have believed this worked this well, but my friend gave me some to try. It literally worked like magic, so I bought my own! You spray it on, the mold turns a brown color for a few seconds, then all mold disappears. I would have thought it should be more expensive for how amazing it is.

So I think it’s a pretty good product for removing algae on surfaces outside like the sidewalk, rocks, or driveway. It def. works, I would say give it a full minute on surfaces such as the ones I listed vs 10 seconds. I read other reviews that said the product works in seconds which wasn’t my experience. Now on to removing mold. Well that’s why I gave it a 3 dow it lift the mold yes, but my experience has not been that it totally removes it. I have applied several applications to a wooden cabinet and it has lifted the mold in certain spots, other parts are still black, and it def. chipped the wood. I’ve applied the product at least ten times in one day. I let it sit the first time for probably a hour and then after that I reapplied every 40min-1hr. It also has a bleach smell but not as strong as other customers have written. I would recommend wearing goggles as the fumes did cause my eyes to sting a little but I wouldn’t describe what I experienced as burning. Gloves and old clothes were recommended as well from other reviews which I too recommend, and old clothes. I wouldn’t purchase again but I’m not upset at my purchase bc I do plan on using it outside again but I don’t think it’s going to completely remove the stain, even after scrubbing it.
