Good enough. Buy it.
This works like a dream. The only issue is when you take out the coffee handle , the inside cup stays in the machine and you have to unscrew it yourself, which is weird. I have worked at coffee shops before and this was never an issue. But then there machines are a lot more expensive. Another point I found challenging is when I make coffee sometimes , the coffee doesn’t start pouring although I go through the same steps and do the same things, the water pours from the steamer nozzle instead at which point I stop the coffee machine and when I open the handle , I see that all the water and coffee have made a mess there. It’s as if there was a blocage preventing the pressure from forming and releasing the coffee, as it usually does . This happens once in a while , it’s annoying but you learn to live with it. If you can afford a higher end machine like a breville , definitely go for that. But it is a considerable jump in price and this will make a great cup of coffee without the headache of cheaper machines. It is a sturdy built and so far I have not encountered any other issue.

Value for money go for it
I am huge coffee fan especially the dark roasted beans - espresso or americano sort of; I was researching on various forums like YouTube / quora and web on what would be like attributes on your first coffee machine , what to expect and how to extract the best coffee (I am also regular Starbucks coffee drinker with monthly spent around 2K ) especially the 100% arabica ... Trust me this delonghi machine will serve your purpose its compact, easy to use, no hanky panky ... from very first day it will do what its asked for ... Now getting the most extraction from your beans will be like depending upon factors such as 1) Beans aging - the manufacturing date 2) grind size (especially for rich foma) 3) Pure extraction will be like 1 dose - 25 - 27 seconds extraction and almost double to bean size , if you are using 8 GM coffee extraction should be around 16 - 17 gms ... So to get to the maturity level will take some time ... but still this is a great product ... just go for it.

Avoid Buying in India
I am writing this review after spending 25,000 on a coffee machine which has been lying idle for over 3 months now for the want of spare part. I have used a Delonghi Nespresso for over 7 years now,. So when time came to change my coffee machine, i wanted to replace it with another Delonghi (given my previous good experience with Delonghi) and bought it in January 2021. This machine works like a charm, once u get ur hands on it. The machine has an attachments, which can be used to either draw one or 2 shots of coffee. Plus the frother that comes gives u an option to either warm the milk or froth the milk. So all in all its an amazing piece of machine and it does what its been designed to do perfectly. However, my experience has not been good. The machine has 4 star reviews, but these are most from international buyers. I ignored the previous poor reviews which had been given by Indian Buyers. After one month of using the machine, the hose of the frother which delivers the steam, cracked while frothing the milk. Their service partner Orient has not been able to send the replacement part putting the blame on Delonghi not supporting them for the spare parts. A lot of previous review by Indian buyers had pointed towards their bad experience of the after sales services Orient and my bad luck that i had to face the same. To summarise, the machine is good. But avoid buying in India. These kind of machines tend to need service support which is missing.

Powerful machine trying to reach its full potential.
After using it for over a year. I believe this is a good entry level machine. Good for people trying to brew coffee for the first time. Over the period of one year i have upgraded the pressurised portafilter with a bottomless increasing the coffee capacity. Pro - Easy to use and clean. There is a learning curve to it. add accessories like a good wdt, distributor and tamper to get a good puck. Cons - Single shot always comes out as watery no matter how fine you grind the beans. No space to keep a weight machine to get accurate ratio of output. Steam wand is ok at best, I don’t use it much as i like my coffee black. At the end of the day the freshness of your coffee beans or powder defines the taste and output. It is an expensive hobby to have. I am now deep into the rabbit hole. Tread carefully before developing the taste of a freshly brewed cup of coffee.

Best Coffee Machine in India for home use!
If you are a coffee lover, this is a must have machine, after reading all the reviews from India as well abroad, i was in no doubt to go for this machine. Using it for past 7 months and no problem till now. We are using blue tokai coffee powder, with this combo, we are getting coffee as good as any top cafe. Pros 1. Very Quick to heat. 2. Very easy to use. 3. Good froth for cappuccino (also depends on the milk you are using) 4. Easy Descaling ( need to do it once in 2 months when using daily for 3-4 shots) Cons 1. Mug warmer could have been better. 2. Descaling 3. Presser is low quality (you can buy another one from amazon) Overall a very good experience!

One of the cheapest great semi-automatic espresso machines if accessorised properly.
To save you from buyer’s remorse, before buying any expensive coffee machine, slide into this hobby gently by first buying and getting used to a moka pot as well as a cheap v60. Then if you have the patience for spending at least half an hour on making coffee, then consider buying this espresso machine. You can use this in stock config but if you want to take brewing as a hobby then this machine additionally requires accessories of about 10k and an espresso grinder to produce espresso shots good enough for an espresso enthusiast on a budget. For more clarity visit tom’s coffee youtube channel for the same product. List of accessories to elevate the experience(should research on youtube: tom’s coffee, james hoffmann, lance hendrick, reddit ,etc): 0)Buy good specialty coffee(whole beans if possible), period. 1) Espresso grinder(keep a budget of at least 12k for this) is a must, a hand grinder meant for espresso would be budget friendly, probably have to import it for best price. I did the same. Getting preground coffee defeats the whole purpose of accessorising. Before buying the machine consider this in the initial budget. 2) 51mm 3 ear bottomless portafilter is a must. 3) coffee scale with timer and 0.1g accuracy. 4)milk pitcher 5)A 51mm tamper. 6)WDT tool, 3D printing it is the cheapest option and then use needles meant for 3d printer with it. 7)tamping mat (cheap silicone ones are reliable) 8)Small spray bottle for RDT(if you buy the grinder) 9) 51mm IMS basket. 10) Dosing funnel or dosing ring for 51mm portafilter. 11) dosing cup for the RDT. Things that are added luxuries: 1)51mm puck screen(necessary for longevity of the machine if you won’t open its shower screen every week to clean) 2)51mm wedge distributor 3)Rancillio steam wand v1/v2 (import it, prices are jacked anywhere from 2x to 4x in india). 4)fancy double walled glasses for espresso as well as cappuccino and latte. I wish you a happy journey into the world of coffee.

Bang for buck.
Got it considerably cheaper during the Great Indian Festival. Good delivery, packaging by the seller; I was a bit worried about this. The top seal of the main box was broken but the machine looked new, untouched and intact so kept it and fingers crossed/touchwood; no complaints till now. It's an awesome entry level machine with great scope of customizability as it ages - I was confused between this and Gaggia Classic Pro but the price was double. So I got it and bought the famous Baratza Encore ESP. :) Look forward to some more upgrades now vis-a-vis bottomless portafilter, spring-loaded tamper, a proper WDT tool and distributor and I believe this machine will get awesome-er!

Poor quality and no customer service
Finicky product with non-existent customer service. I had many major problems with this machine, which I have been using for the past 10 months. - I could never successfully make a 14 g double espresso with this machine. It has failed every single time with insufficient pressure to push the liquid through. - The decalcification light came on very quickly although I always used filtered Kaveri water with it. Despite running through the decalcification process using the Delonghi liquid, it remained on. - Even making a 7g single espresso failed randomly at times. The milk frother is painful to use, and it works only about 50% of the time. I have given up and have been using a manual frother which works amazingly well. - The unit keeps overheating - even after a few minutes of use! - This machine is not supported for local service. Even in Bangalore with so many vendors, no one will touch it. Overall, this was a terrible purchase.
