Leadership with Impact: Preparing Health and Human Service Practitioners in the Age of Innovation and Diversity

I used this book for my leadership class and it was a good read. Araque and Weiss provide a very comprehensive look at leadership in human service organizations and cover a lot of ground, which is good. I like that it focuses on leaders being social innovators. It covers topic such as communication, diversity, reducing burnout and mindfulness. I definitely liked that they used two chapters to talk about self-care in leadership. The case studies are also great to give you a more real-life practice of the material.I will definitely reference the book in the future as I continue to grow in my own leadership position.
