Liquitex Special Release Muted Collection, Professional Acrylic Ink! 1-oz Jar - Muted Turquoise

This is a good quality ink and I really love the colour, I have mixed it with white acrylic paint and tempera, clear acrylics, gel mediums and crackle glaze, you don't need too much of the ink to get a nice vibrant colour. I have also mixed it with Mod Podge and a tiny bit of water, coated the inside of glass jars with it and baked them in the oven and they come out a nice transparent tinted blue colour. I made alcohol ink with it too by mixing it with isopropyl, I will buy more colours I would definitely recommend it. I use powdered pigments a lot but this is just so much less hassle and doesn't clog up my spray bottles.

I really love the colours in the liquitex muted range and I'm getting a new one whenever i can, but I had to get the muted turquoise first. It's the sort of rich colour that you just have to use straight away. It's the colour of the deep turquoise blue that the sea is around Greece or could be used with other colours to create a twilight sky. Or a TARDIS if you are a big geek like me. I will have to buy the rest of this range as quickly as possible if the rest of the range is as good as the muted turquoise. I really like that the lid has a pipette incorporated, so it's easier, less messy (still a little messy, but that could be my clumsiness) and you don't waste the colour as you can put out a small amount at a time.

intense colour . Bottle was very full so managaged to get vividly coloured hands for a day after opening. the work i did is getting good feedback.
