Great Product !
I've been using this for about a year and it works for mice and rats. I sprinkle a small handfull in dishes around the house. It will dissolve in rain, so place it sheltered from rain.

NO
I've gone through 4 bags of these pellets and there is no noticeable decrease in rat activity. They live under my deck and I have dropped these though the openings of the planks and poured them directly into the rat holes they dig along the perimeter of the deck. I live by a lake and I have 4 dogs so there is a lot of wild life and I am not going to put out poison. I saw a rat once that was dying after ingesting poison and it was gruesome. That animal was dying from internal bleeding and it wasn't quick. I won't participate in that kind of cruelty or chance a secondary poisoning. I had very high hopes for these but it was a waste of money. The rats seem to have eaten all 4 bags with no result. I looked for an exterminator the would use carbon dioxide or carbon monoxide but no one here does that. I wouldn't care, I share my property with lots of critters because of the lake but the rats are burrowing under a flag stone walkway and dislodging the stones. That was an expensive project and lifting up those heavy flagstones and filling in the voids with bags of soil is hard on the back not to mention having to constantly buy bags of soil and lug them home. Think I'm going to try stuffing dry ice in the rat holes or just keep repairing the digging and go on with life. Choose your battles wisely!

Important to read the directions
From what I have experienced, this product works as intended. First off, the product is safe for all animals but rats and mice. The cautionary statement? Is read the instructions carefully. This is NOT a miracle product that will eliminate the problem overnight. With proper use, it will take a few days to act. But it will work. Our problem? We live in an area with vermin outnumber humans and no matter what, they will come back. Small or even medium infestation populations this will work fine. Again, you must take the time to thoroughly read the instructions and if possible, reach out to the manufacturer for additional instructions and information. Customer service is outstanding, and they will be willing to help. This particular product is simple to use, quick to setup, and sit back and wait.

UPDATE: Works Good Minimal Decay Odor
We purchased this product based on claims of being humane and 90% less odor from decomposition.Shortly after we did have a decaying rodent odor. However, based on the amount of the product that was consumed I would actually suggest the odor was minor. Our regular snap traps haven't been touched since using this which indicates along with the product being consumed that it must be effective.I submit it does work well but expect some odor though minimal.

product too hard for even a rat to chew
The rats and mice just strewed the pellets around, so I tried different sweeteners to coat them with. Still the same results So I decided to crush them into a powder and make PeanutButter balls.when I hit the pellets with a hammer it just bounced off of them. I finally had to crush each pellet with a pair of pliers. It's little wonder why the rats didn't eat any of them. Now I don't know if the pellets were just so old, they atrophied or they are made that way. I now have to wait and see if my peanut Butterball idea works. I hope so i don't want to use a more painful method of getting rid of our rat problem. Added cementI noticed the rats came for my bird seed so i tried a new formular. I melted peanut butter in hot water stirred in a handful of bird seed and poured in the hot water. they are now eating my mixture twice a dayi have been through two 3 lb bags of poison and am starting on my third 3lb bag and so far It just looks like i am feeding them a Gorma meal. i still have a dozen baby's and a few adults all over my porchI don't yet know if Rat X is effective in getting rid of them. When I find out I will let you know.Update : It's now been 9lbs of rat X and no visible results. being discouraged I had to resort to buying Tom Cat rat traps. The pack of 4 very durable and effective. Grose i must admit. So far i have caught 19 rats and 2 mice . The worst part is when they are only practically caught and suffering.I had caught 2 this way. Not knowing what else to do I dropped them in a bucket of water, trap and all. I had to wait till they drowned to dispose of them. To horrific to go into detail as to what that involved. As for Rat X the jury is still out. Will it kill if you only have a few I don't know.
