Worth the price, great option for dark haired people!
I've been looking for a good dry shampoo for forever (oily hair here), most of them I've tried have been "ok", but since I have black hair, often I would see the residue on my hair because of the contrast. Then I heard about Dark and Deep brown, I didn't even know they made colored dry shampoo, so I was excited to try it. I really like that it's dark enough to blend in with my black hair, it leaves a nice scent and a matte finish, and any residue is not nearly as visible. Protips: Don't spray the dry shampoo on too close to your hair, hold it back a bit , and work in sections for best results. Make sure you brush your hair very well after applying, to reduce residue, after you've worked the product in well with your fingers. It does leave some brown residue on your hands, so be sure to wash your hands afterwards. I do an additional step and blow dry my hair, kinda fluffs it up more and helps reduce residue.

Make sure the product gets into your hair!
I'm a brunette and I use the dark & deep brown. I love this product. I was looking through the bad reviews and noticed that the main problem people had with it was the color. First off, I would like to stress that the purpose of this product is NOT for color. Dry shampoo is designed for getting the extra oils out of your hair, not touching up your roots. The color added to this product is there so that it *blends* well into your hair color. With that said, I know when first sprayed on, it gives a dark gray color. This can be easily removed by simply rubbing and blending with the tips of your fingers. Make sure the product actually gets into your roots and doesn't just sit on top of your head.As for the residue, obviously dry shampoo isn't a permanent solution for oily hair, just a temporary fix. I only use it when I'm in a hurry and have no time to wash my hair. If the residue bothers you, brush it out as much as you can and wash your hair when you get the chance, but I don't notice it at all.So now for what I love about this product:-It soaks up the oil in my hair incredibly well. Doing its job.-It's physically cool when first applied and feels really good :)-After a minute, no evidence whatsoever of the gray color when first applied.-the packaging. I'm a packaging person, and the bottle is just really cute. This is really good quality. It's just overall a great product, I highly recommend.PS: I'm American, and I can't get it in stores, so I really appreciate the free shipping.

I. LOVE. This stuff. And I've tried them all.
My hairdresser has been yelling at me for years for washing my hair daily. He told me about dry shampoo, and that I should use it, but I just couldn't get the hang of it/get over the "feeling of clean" that I got from washing my hair every day. About three years ago, I chopped off all my (dead, dry, brittle) hair and started growing it again from my chin, and slowly started whittling down the number of times a week I washed my hair.My hair is now past my bra strap in the back, shiny, strong, and I wash my hair once every 5 - 7 days, and the ONLY reason is because of this stuff. I have fine, thick hair (meaning a lot of it, but the individual strands are fine) so the "bodyfying" effect in this stuff is great.I have very dark brown (but not black) hair. First I used Tresemme, Salon Grafix, BedHead, Big & Sexy, Suave (though I do LOVE their dry conditioner), the old school L'oreal stuff, the "Not Your Mother's" dry shampoo, cornstarch, baking soda, cocoa powder... but I keep coming back to this stuff. Here's why:1. The TINTED powder. For someone with dark hair, my beef with dry shampoo has always been the greyish whitish nasty dull residue that builds up in my roots that while my hair doesn't look greasy, does look like I rubbed ashes in my hair. This stuff, with the dark tint, absorbs the oil and keeps my hair the dark color it should be.2. It "poofs" things up. Like another reviewer, I'll sometimes use this in my clean hair, just a squirt at each temple, to add some extra oomph. But when I'm using it on days 2, 3, 5, whatever... it keeps my hair lifted (does that make sense?) and feeling fresh. Before, other dry shampoos would keep it from looking greasy, but I'd still lose the body after day 2, so I'd end up wearing my hair up after the second day. This stuff, I can get 4 or 5 days of down styles.3. The feeling. The cold "psssht" when you spray it on your scalp has a nice cool rush that helps your scalp feel clean, even if it isn't. I don't mind the smell, though some reviewers seem to.Tips:I wear a shower cap, and then when I'm out of the shower, I use a round brush and my blowdryer to quickly (we're talking 30 seconds) dry my roots where the water seeped under the cap when I washed my face. Then I use quick little blasts on my whole hairline around my face. This is enough for the next day after washing, but on days 2 or 3, I'll separate my hair into sections about 2" wide and spray there, focusing mainly on my natural part. Then I pull my hair back out of my face and WAIT. Don't brush it right away!I usually do my makeup, or get dressed, or make a cup of coffee, whatever, but let it sit for a minute. When I'm ready, I BRUSH it through my hair, not rub with my fingers. WARNING: This stuff DOES leave a dark powdery residue on fingers if you rub it in. It washes right off, it's never stained any of my clothing, but it is gross if you get it under your nails and then don't notice until later.I use a paddle brush to distribute it, "scrubbing" lightly, but not so hard to tangle my hair. I think this helps with the lift. Then I round brush style my hair and boom - clean, shiny, voluminous hair. Sometimes when I roundbrush my hair near the scalp, there will be little dark dusties from this stuff, but I just brush them off with a makeup brush.I actually love my hair on the second day more than the day I wash my hair now; it styles better and holds the style better. If you have long hair, I'd recommend a dry conditioner after the first couple of days, if you use a lot of heat styling like I do. Helps keep your ends hydrated.Bottom line, I love this stuff. I have long hair, and one can usually lasts me about a month. Not as cost effective as just washing your hair more, but for the time it saves me every day (washing my hair adds 45 minutes with washing, conditioning and blowdrying and styling to my morning routine), it's totally worth it. I even keep a can in my gym bag for post workout lifts, if I need them.
