Cables for people who have common sense
These RCA cables work as well or better than some more expensive cables I have bought in the past. And they are definitely better than the cheap cables that are included with many of the products that we buy. When using RCA cables such as these, you are using old-school connections that can only provide "so much" performance. As far as materials & technology is concerned, once you get to a certain point in the construction of an RCA cable, the cost can easily outweight the reward. So why spend a fortune? I conducted my own sound comparison between these cables and some $80.00 cables of the same length. My friend and I could not discern any significant difference in the sound, and we both have good ears for music. These cables are well-made and a good value.

Works, but not the cable in the picture.
It does exactly what is supposed to do, the quality is nice and it plugs in without a problem (no tight fit here). I can't get it 5 stars though because mine was a navy blue and this picture looks very much black (which I wanted). Not a huge deal and for less than 5 bucks I won't complain, but it wasn't exactly what i thought it would be.

Great Cables
These cables are great! I purchased them to hook-up a CD player to my home theater system. They are of better quality than the cables that came with the CD player, so I am very happy and pleased that I bought them. After hooking-up the player, I was absolutely blown away by the sound of the music coming through the speakers, it was crystal clear, rich, and full. In fact, the sound is better than ever, so I can only assume that the cables played a major role in the quality of the music, and I highly recommend them to anyone that loves the sound of good music!

Works, but is loose
After putting these on I was only getting one channel through my Bose 901 equalizer. I realized the connection to my receiver was undone--the retaining cap on the plug was too loose to stay on the female rca plug and I had to be extra careful when pushing my receiver back into it's shelf. Other than that, the cables are nice and pliable.

No issues, solid build
PROS: Inexpensive, high quality, no hum/noise, probably will last 20+ yearsCONS: Really nothing. Conclusion: Most people only need 3' shielded cables and these are perfect. You don't need to spend big money on patch cables (like Monster or gold plated) to make any difference in tonal quality. However, the really thin and cheap ones that you can pick up while getting your groceries are not recommended.

Noisy Cables
Although these cables look sturdy and well made, they perform atrociously. Before this purchase, I did not believe in quality cabling-- thinking that a cable is a cable is a cable. That said, I opted for these six dollar RCA cables instead of twenty dollar alternatives to connect my DAC to my headphone amp. With my headphones plugged in (Sennheiser HD650) at low gain, I immediately heard an oscillating noise. After checking all the connections, and ruling out other hardware faults, the only thing left was the cable. I dropped by Guitar Center, and bought a set of six dollar Live Wire cables. And voila! The distracting noise is gone even at the highest gain.I was going to give this item a three stars, considering that it could be used for low-fidelity audio equipment, but have since changed my mind because better alternatives are out there at the same price (perhaps even lower without shipping). Also, as another reviewer has mentioned, the cable received is different than the one described in the picture.

Excellent cables for the price
Nice RCA cables, the connectors are high quality and the cable itself is thick but still flexible enough to make tight turns if needed.

Great Cable, Great Price.
I bought these cables to hook up a couple of vintage stereo systems that I have. I like these cables because of the heavier gauge wire. I have bought many other cables spending much more than what these cables cost me that have a lighter gauge wire and feel flimsy and cheap. These are a good quality heavy cable with gold plating on connectors. I am using these to replace all of the thinner gauge cables that I have.
