Very low quality product. It only looks good for a very short time. Upon assembly the adhesive protective sheet stuck to the adhesive and took it off in portions. After a month the whole thing started sliding (because of the terrible adhesive strip) and I had to replace. Wouldn't recommend.

Sooo, I was looking for shiny (obnoxious) gold bar tape and thought I had found it here! I just received the package and it is not this shiny bright gold that the pictures make it appear to be...it's a very soft gold, I would say it looks more Khaki with just a hint of shine. The third picture, or I guess mock-up would be more appropriate, makes it especially look like that super shiny bright gaudy gold I was looking for BUT! In this case, a picture is worth $14 accidental dollars. :(The quality is there, but I am marking it low because it's not how it appears in the pictures. If you're looking for muted shiny beige or khaki, this is your tape(oh, also I thought maybe when it's streched out a bit and actually on the bars it might be a bit shinier like the third pic..and nu-uh..same dullbeige tape) :/

This wasn't the best or the easiest bar tape to use. The adhesive kept coming off when I attempted to remove the paper backing. Eventually I did manage to apply the bar tape to the handlebars. I don't know how long it will stay on, only time will tell. Eventually I will be replacing the handlebars so I'm not expecting too much out of this bar tape. The gold color is a much closer match to the gold graphics on my road bike than I was expecting. So I'm very pleased about that.

The tape has no stick and slid around the bar trying to get it on..... the texture of the tape is slippery and, since I haven't ridden it yet cause I'm in a flooded Houston, I'm assuming after the first ride, I'll be removing it.

Agree with the 70's comment, it's that perfect vintage gold color, which I personally love. It pulled everything together for my bike, from the tire walls to the color of the logo to the reflectors on the pedals. Just fabulous vintage look.. Great texture, good feel, decent grip. Got it fast too!

These are classic gold in color. They are slightly muted so not too flashy but, will have that slight green tinge that all early 70's gold colors do.

The black (carbon) tape is thin and does not match the picture. It's a matte black and does not possess the "carbon fiber" look that the picture depicted.

We created a bike rack and used this beautiful deep gold for the handlebars. We love the outcome.
