I got this bc my old one was already giving me issues. As a venezuelan i cannot go one day without making arepas and this was the best purchase ever! Works quick, easy to turn on and you’ll have your arepa ready in less than 15 minutes. It’s also small so you don't have to worry about it taking a lot of space in the kitchen.

The arepero works as is mentioned in the instructions. We use the first time and everything is fine

I bought this arepa maker having previously owned an older model that lasted us 11 years. Definitely not the same quality. Our older model seems to have been made with cast iron so the arepas would cook quickly, and come out toasty. This one takes forever to heat up and cook. The arepas come out all cracked, do not get golden like an arepa should. The old model was way better.

I purchased the 2-slot version of this Arepa Maker to make gluten-free burger buns. It's been getting a lot of use. It simplifies the job: I add the dough, set my oven timer to 13-15 minutes (usually 14) & remove them & start over. Though arepas are traditionally made with precooked corn flour, I don't care for corn & make them with different veggies & flours. Made a batch today with red lentils, carrot, onion, spices & a little flour (quinoa & millet). It takes up very little space in my pantry as it stands upright, and it's also very easy to clean.

La facilidad con que ahora hago arepas en México, es magistral. La textura, la temperatura, lo tostado me recuerdan a los desayunos familiares en Venezuela. Antes de irme al trabajo me preparo dos y en cuanto me visto ya están listas. Las relleno con toda vaina y son los mejores desayunos. En la noche es lo mejor porque llegas cansado, sacas la masa que hiciste en la mañana y Pum!! 2 AREPAS más poelpecho. Sabroso cará!
