Very comfortable and light weight, of course highly recommended as every alpinestars gear

I had the earlier version of these in knee and elbow. They were great for a long time until the pads simply cracked across the waffle holes. This new version has pretty weak grip material. The knees don't stay in place and I have to adjust them mid ride quite often. These will likely become a backup set and I'll order the other brand I was considering.

These things are fantastic. Input them on before I ridez and each time I think to myself these are going to be annoying. But I always forget they are on my legs. Very well done!

The shape is good, the protection is in the right place.The issue is that they decided to sew a thick bundle of useless tags inside, constantly touching and pressing against the skin. These can't be removed properly. You can either try keep the thread intact by cutting just the excess off which leaves you with sharp edges, or cut too deep and damage a main thread that is integral to the product. I managed to damage mine. It still works for now, but probably not for very long. Maybe repairable.
