GAUDER Magnetic Tape Cuttable, Self-Adhesive Magnet Strip (3 m x 15 mm)

Got it to attach some a5-sized metal 'prints' to my enormous freezer that needs enormous fridge magnets. 2 strips, top and bottom, were more than enough as it's now quite tough to pull them off said freezer. 4 'buttons', 1 on each corner, would have been fine. The strip is not going to support your 2 kilo claw hammer, but it's stronger than I was expecting. I could have got a thinner/narrower size for my purpose.

It was nice and magnetic, but the adhesive on the back wasn't the best. Once it's attached to the surface, and you've really pinned it down for a while, it works, but for most wall-based purposes, it's almost impossible to get stuck onto the wall.

Very mild magnet wanted it for holding a mobile phone up but not strong enough .

I have attached it to the back of a calendar/reminder pad to put on the side of my fridge. It is very easy to use and apply. I used strips at the top and bottom and this has provided a secure magnetic connection. I can remove and replace the calendar as I please without problem. Highly recommend for this kind of purpose.

I used this to fix a stainless steel panel to a cupboard door and it worked well. If you are expecting a strip to hold tools to a wall etc. it simply will not have the magnetic holding power. Large flat surfaces work fine. Be realistic in your expectations! Updating my original review. The self adhesive strip lost its grip after a year and so I have down graded for 4 to 2 star rating.

I bought this for my son in law as he is up and down ladders all day. He's not a man of many words, so all he said was, "Very handy!" I think that one was a success!

Ha risolto il mio problema della zanzariera che scattava perché il muro non essendo completamente dritto non permetteva ai due magneti (sul muro e sulla zanzariera) di aderire. Ho usato questo nastro per aggiungere spessore, aggiungendo 3 livelli di nastro magnetico uno sull'altro. Ora la zanzariera aderisce perfettamente al muro e si attacca con forza

I often do little or bigger projects around the house and I can see many uses for a magnetic tape -- it is just good to have options within your materials when doing a project. I actually will need the tape for my workshop and have already used it for a little project in the kitchen: a magnetic knife holder. I put two stripes parallel on a piece of walnut wood -- it sticks on it amazingly strong and there's no room to attach it wrong in the first attempt: it will stick. So, from the adhesive perspective it is really quality tape. I also expected that from 3M. The knife holder project worked out very well, the knives hold up great. I can image similar use scenarios like putting it up in the workshop for wrenches, small saw blades, etc.

Average strength, .44inch width, shorter than 10 feet. Nothing, what’s advertised. Very disappointed. Don’t recommend this product.

Zu meinen Erfahrungen: Ich habe demnächst meine Lehrprobe und habe ein "Hintergrundbild" auf Posterkarton in 2x 125mic Laminierfolie laminiert. Dieses hängt auch mit unglaublich vielen Streifen der normalen "Magnetklebestreifen", die es auf einer Art Tesarolle gibt an der Tafel. Meine Objekte, die die Kinder allerdings auf dieses sehr stabile Hintergrundbild hängen sollen hafteten natürlich nicht an der Tafel durch dieses Hintergrundbild hindurch. Ich habe diese leichten allerdings ebenfalls mit 2x 125 mix laminierten und über Din A4 großen Objekte komplett mit den magnetischen Tesastreifen zugekleistert gehabt und war schon wirklich ratlos, da es null magnetische Anziehung zeigte... Magnete wollte ich allerdings für die Lehrprobe nicht einsetzen, da sie das Tafelbild zerstören, ein Spielfaktor für die Kinder sind und ich da auch starke Magnete gebraucht hätte, denn mit unseren normalen Schulmagneten haftete auch nichts. Ich habe dieses Produkt gekauft und davor in den Rezensionen gelesen, dass man mindestens 10cm Streifen oder so benutzten muss um die Wirkund zu erzielen. Ich habe hinter meinen Objekten auch längere durchgehende Streifen angebracht und siehe da: Ich bin gerettet. Die Objekte haften durch meinen dicken, stabilen Hintergrund an der Tafel und sind natürlich schön darin verschiebbar, ohne lästige Magnete. Ich füge demnächst Fotos hinzu. PS: Ich kann hier allerdings nichts dazu sagen, ob sehr schwere Gegenstände wie Schraubenschlüssel und Co. daran haften. Für meine Zwecke vollkommen ausreichend, auch wenn die je 6 Meter Rolle im Nuh verschwunden war und ich nachbestellen musste. Ein Traum wäre, wenn auch kurze Streifen super haften würden und der Preis günstiger wäre. Dann würde ich das hier nur noch kaufen und nicht die Tesarollenmagnetstreifen. Ich melde mich wieder, mit mehr Erfahrungswerten ;-).

Buscaba una solución para fijar unas fotos y unos recordatorios en la nevera sin usar imanes aparatosos y esta tira es perfecta. Es bastante discreta (15 mm de ancho) y se disimula muy bien. También la he probado para sujetar una regleta ligera de luces LED y aguanta sin problemas. Al venir en un rollo de 3 metros, cunde muchísimo para pequeños proyectos por toda la casa. Una compra muy útil y de calidad. TIP: Un pequeño truco para que funcione al 100%: Antes de pegarla, limpia muy bien la superficie con un poco de alcohol para quitar el polvo o la grasa. Y si vas a colgar algo que pese un poco más (como un mando de TV), pega dos tiras paralelas en lugar de una; así duplicas la superficie de contacto y la sujeción es mucho más firme.
