A Seriously Trustworthy Brand
I use SR Blueberry Concentrate to help reach my daily anti-oxidant (ORAC) goals. Besides destroying harmful free radicals, anti-oxidants such as blueberries fight inflammation. I also use SR’s Tart Cherry and C3 Complex Tumeric Curcumin for this purpose. Although I love eating whole blueberries, when they’re not in season their price is high and of course, to get the maximum value from fresh berries you have to eat a ton of them and that means a lot of sugar which is itself generally regarded as pro-inflammatory. SR Blueberry Concentrate does not contain the sugar.SR products are the Real Deal—3rd Party Tested, non-GMO, organic, and prepared with wholesome carriers such as organic EVO or coconut oil which enhance the absorption of fat-solvable vitamins and herbs. Other brands may be less expensive, but you get what you pay for. SR also has a habit of randomly including a promo cards for a free product in some of their products, so the more SR products you use, the more you will save. When you are lucky enough to get a bottle which contains a free bottle promo offer, SR will ask you to send them a review of the product. I don’t know if these reviews may eventually be posted here on Amazon or elsewhere, but the review you are reading now was posted directly to Amazon by me, my choice. The bottom line: If you live a life of ease, you can probably get 99% of all the nutrients your body needs from a healthy diet. But if you work hard, play hard and go at life full throttle, more of certain vital nutrients such as antioxidants will probably increase your chances of a healthier and longer life. And if you’re going to supplement, spend what you have to to get the best. I consider several dozen supplements a part of my weekly food shopping expenses.I use groups of supplements, each targeting a different goal—muscle building, cognitive health, anti-aging, inflammation and pain, mood, etc. Antioxidants hit all of these targets, directly or indirectly. As for berries, I especially believe in combining Blueberry concentrates with elderberries. The two berries are related and I believe there is a complimentary effect when both are taken together. To add a few of the more exotic berries, I also recommend Life Extension’s Enhanced Berry Complete which is very reasonably priced.

Organic,non-GMO and soy free - awesome!
I am not exactly sure how one would "rate" a blueberry supplement, but I can tell you why I decided to take it and why I chose this company.I started out using the Vitamin D supplement from Sports Research since I don't get out in to the sun much and my last test results demonstrated my D levels were marginally low. I appreciated the fact that it was combined with coconut oil since Vitamin D is fat soluble - this ensures maximum absorption. That's how I began to learn about Sports Research, and then subsequently learned they had all of these other supplements. I have recently ordered cranberry from them, collagen and their fish oil supplement. At any rate, I began taking glutathione and read that there was a "theory" that it was better absorbed with anthocyanins. In the end, I follow a ketogenic diet and have for two years, so I don't eat fruit, and honestly never really have. We can't deny the research that is out there for the bright-colored fruits in terms of antioxidants and major health benefits accompanying these. We also know that the actual fruit is generally better, but you have to actually eat them! In the past, I have let more fruit go "bad" in my fridge, so I just stopped buying it (which is why following a ketogenic way of eating is almost natural for me). I never liked the really bright-colored fruits anyway - blueberries, raspberries, etc. So, even a bag of frozen blueberries will sit in the freezer for months on end - not good.I like that this product is non-GMO, soy free and is organic. I try to eat organic when I can because every little bit helps, right?! Even if this doesn't truly assist with absorption of glutathione, I am likely doing something great for my health with the antioxidant support alone.

Smells like dirty socks…
Before they had some problems with old pills sticking to each other. I think that’s the reason for adding olive oil as a coating. Well… now it’s making the pills smell like old socks in few days of opening.. If you need to oil up old pills…. How old are they? Is it really fresh?
