Will the joggers shrink at all. Worried the size may be a tad to long

I haven't notice shrinking. My wife says the butt sags, but perhaps that was aimed at me.

my waist size is 34..not sure if i should order large or medium?

My son is a 32 and I ordered medium, I think there is plenty of room for 34 waist
