You've found your bag!
My first review ever!: Out of all the items I've purchased on Amazon, I've always done extensive research before deciding on a product. I've never felt compelled to write a review, due to existing information on most equipment. However, the tactical line of bags from Snugpak have very little customer feedback. This might be because the Softie line of bags have similar ratings and specs for close to half the price. Snugpak has a comparison chart in their paper catalog that shows the specs for all their bags. The tactical line is the echelon, the creme de la crumb, of Snugpak's line on their spreadsheet for their ratings to volume/weight. I'm here to tell you that the bag is worth the money. I will be purchasing a tactical 3 and tactical 4 in the near future. It is by far the best quality and performing bag for the weight/volume/material that I have found. Down isn't fail safe. This is. The TS1 suede inner lining really makes it, along with all of the other premium Snugpak materials the bag is made out of. It reeks quality. Compressed it packs to roughly the size of a volleyball. As soon as I got it I took it out on the porch for a go. 36 degrees F, misting, just underwear, laying on a Thermarest Trail pro, which is not the warmest pad out there. Accidently fell asleep for an hour. Stayed toasty, and I'm a cold sleeper. I heard that Snugpak bags were rated for actual temp, and I thought yeah right, it'll be like every other bag I've slept in. You know, add 20 degrees. I was graciously surprised. Tip: The zipper pull has a lanyard on it with a rubber grip on the end. Open and close it holding that grip. Surprisingly it makes a world of difference towards snags. My only dislike is the inner footbox. Snugpak has it reinforced with some liner, which is great for "sleeping with one eye open" military personnel who wear their boots to bed. For me, I'd rather my feet contact more super-soft suede than chilly nylon. I understand the purpose of it, it's just a personal preference like I say. Wearing socks to bed alleviates the issue. Or manning up. Bear in mind, 95% of other bags are lined with chilly nylon anyways. It's just more noticeable to me when you have an immediate transition between suede and nylon. If you're on the fence, trust this fellow and buy this bag. You will have no regrets if you know what's good for you. They don't make'm better.

Awesome quality, great materials, SUPER lightweight, packs really tight/small... love this bag.
Awesome bag. For how warm it is... this thing is wicked light and small when packed. The Snugpak bags are very true to their temp ratings. I've never had a nice bag like this that didn't have nylon as the main interior surface... the soft feel of this is pretty dang nice when getting into it. Great bag, no regrets at all. Someday I'll probly buy one of the Tactical 4 bags just to have another one for even colder nights.

Great, if I was normal size
I'm 6'3" 220. One in this bag I had NO ROOM and it fits like a sock. SnugPak is some of the best gear out there, but come on...

Great sleeping bag! Lightweight, compact, warm, comfortable
I didn't buy this on Amazon. It was provided to me by my employer for work overseas. I have used this bag in temps from 115 degrees to about 35 degrees. Pros: - VERY compact. It rolls up just as small as the picture shows, every time. It has straps you use to tighten everything down once the bag is rolled. Great design, quick and easy to use. - Very comfortable. The inner material is very soft and breathes well. Kept me warm without making me sweat. - Durable. I've had this bag since 2009. I first used it for 3 weeks out of each month for about 6 months in some very harsh conditions. Since then, I've used it a total of maybe 3 weeks a year when camping. Bag still looks and feels brand new. Cons: This is a problem I have with all mummy bags. You can't move around. The narrow design keeps the bag small and warm, but if you move around a lot like I do, it can be difficult to get out when you wake up.

Snugpak does it again! The features this bag boasts are incredible. The inner is lined with a sort of fleece that is extremely comfortable and good at pulling potential moisture from your body, and there is a small enclosure underneath your head to stuff a small camp pillow or clothing to make your night even more comfortable. The pack size and weight is pretty incredible for a synthetic bag and it fits snuggly in the sleeping bag compartment of my MEC Brio 75 bag. I am pretty confident that I will be able to push this bag past the -12c extreme temp rating when paired with a good tent, closed cell sleeping pad and an inflatable sleeping pad. I am 6' and 170lbs and I find there to be adequate room to move around in.
