From the outside it’s just like any other smartphone, it has sleek and stylish good looks, an easy to use interface, a front and rear camera and a 5.5 inch HD display, it’s just like yours, making it desirable to kids. The inside is what makes it desirable to parents, it has special Monqi software which can’t be turned off or deleted. This unique software gives two smartphones remote control over the Monqi phone, so both mum and dad can keep track at the same time and no one has to be the bad guy. There’s plenty to keep them occupied, the Monqi phone has its own Jungle store with over 700 child friendly apps to choose from, and if you have an app you deem appropriate, that’s unavailable on the Jungle Store, you can install it from Google Play on your child’s behalf. You’ll be able to monitor your child’s screen time, see what they’re searching for, how long they’re spending on games and apps and even set time restrictions or lock the phone completely when it comes to bedtime and homework, it also comes in handy if you’ve grounded them. Monitor calls and see text messages, set an allowance for how many minutes and texts they can use a day, there’s no risk of running up a hefty bill. View their contact list and if you don’t approve you can delete contacts, it’s a great way to monitor for cyber bullying. You’ll be able to track your child on a map, see where they’ve been and even get notifications when they enter a specified zone on the map. It comes in ideal for alerting you when they arrive home or if they’ve gone somewhere they shouldn’t have. The phone benefits from a large powermax 5000mAh battery which gives it an impressive 400 hour standby time and average talk time of 8 hours, making it easier for you to keep in touch at all times. The Monqi phone is the perfect compromise. ## Features - About this item - Parent management app Compatibility: Android IOS - Supplied Sim Free unlocked to all UK and EU networks - 5.5" IPS HD Display - 16GB + 64GB Micro SD Slot - Check Call logs, Texts and web use - Finger Print Sensor - Bluetooth - Dual Simm ## Images ![Monqi P550s childs kids first tuff phone 16GB 5.5" HD Sim-Free unlocked parental montoring - Black - Image 1](https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/41QINal778L.jpg) ![Monqi P550s childs kids first tuff phone 16GB 5.5" HD Sim-Free unlocked parental montoring - Black - Image 2](https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/61zFrzfag9L.jpg) ![Monqi P550s childs kids first tuff phone 16GB 5.5" HD Sim-Free unlocked parental montoring - Black - Image 3](https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/616bV9H6cPL.jpg) ![Monqi P550s childs kids first tuff phone 16GB 5.5" HD Sim-Free unlocked parental montoring - Black - Image 4](https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/314Dj4fe4aL.jpg) ![Monqi P550s childs kids first tuff phone 16GB 5.5" HD Sim-Free unlocked parental montoring - Black - Image 5](https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/51TVKzfzauL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very happy *by C***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 October 2019* Great phones I have purchased 2 now for our foster children love that I can control what they are seeing and where they are going. The boys like that it’s a smart phone and I like the smart price ### ⭐⭐⭐ Monqi Energizer P550s pros and cons *by E***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 May 2020* Pros: The parental control features work as advertised and really well, and cannot be accidentally or deliberately disabled (unlike MMGuardian or Qustodio on android or ios). The software comes preinstalled on the phone, tightly integrated with the phones operating system. The parent’s software is easy to install (I installed it on ios/iphone), the linking (called “bonding”) is straightforward and the parents’ user interface reasonably intuitive and easy to use (no manual required).Cons: The only niggle we have is a distinct lack of stability of maintaining a Wifi connection to the home Wifi system. This is not due to a technical problem with the home Wifi system, no other devices have this issue, be it ios, android, mac os, windows or linux. From time to time the Monqi loses internet access over wifi and gets an “authorisation error”. If we then “forget the network”, reboot the phone, and reenter the wifi password, then the connection can be reestablished, but this is often required two or three times a day. ### ⭐ i do not recommend this company *by C***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 November 2020* i bought this phone for my 9 year old for his birthday. when switching on it wouldnt connect to any form of Internet ie wifi data etc. we switched it off untill the next day. the next day when we switched it back on,the phone had no monqi on it at all, but would then connect to Internet. havent a clue where monqi went. ive phoned valutech who didnt seem very interested at all just told me to email them which i did. nearly 2 weeks later and still no reply. would not recommend this company at all. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/157264757-monqi-p550s-childs-kids-first-tuff-phone-16gb-5-5](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/157264757-monqi-p550s-childs-kids-first-tuff-phone-16gb-5-5) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-31*
