This lock didn't line up exactly to the two holes from the prior lock, but it only required drilling one hole to get the proper alignment. It was a pretty easy installation, aside from the few seconds it took to drill the new hole, plus of course there was the need for a drill in my case. It was easy to set the new combination. I wish it was available as a single item, but I'll have the spare in case TSA renders another lock unusable.

I bought this to replace the lock on my Delsey large, hard case luggage. It fit perfectly and was easy to install. While on an international trip, apparently security wanted to go through my checked luggage. Looks like they tore it off using a crowbar. Never dawned on me but TSA locks are only useful for travel in the USA.This lock came in a 2 pack so I have an extra should this ever happen again.

Looking at this listing the photo matched the lock I needed to replace exactly. Except when I went to install it. I removed the old lock and went to install this one, when I noticed the mounting hole pattern was wider and reversed from my old lock. Something to keep in mind. I had to drill new holes to mount it and was fortunate enough to have it work out. Other than that glitch, the lock is great. Works as the original and is a good replacement.

I knew the holes wouldn't line up when I purchased but its easy enough to fix that and this one seems more heavy duty than what was originally on my suitcase.

I have had the locks on suitcases damaged in baggage handling equipment, or simple mechanical failure over the years. These are great for a quick fix to replace damaged or broken locks. It's a very quick job with simple tools to replace bad locks and you're on your way with new, combination re-set locks for secure travel. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I had to replace pre-TSA locks on our old carry-ons after someone (TSA?) broke off the original lock on one. You know the drill...you go to board the airplane and on the ramp you are told that the overhead bins are full and you must leave your carry-on to the tender mercies of the airline. The lock covers the previous mounting holes and the backing plate makes the lock attachment sturdy.

We have a set of Samsonite luggage that had been used 2 or 3 times. Somehow the lock on one of the pieces broke. I went through the Samsonite process for support. Never again. Difficult to use and process is more complicated than needed. That is compounded by the lack of authorized/responsive service centers. So, why not see what is available on Amazon? To my delight this lock was available. It did replace the lock that broke and very easy to install. It comes as a pack of two. Hope that I do not have to use the second one!
