I originally wanted to find a product that didn't have lead in it. Most of these big named sponges have all sorts of heavy metals and are made of synthetic material. Microscopic particles you don't want to be on your cups, dinner plates and utensils. So I looked around and found this. This is literally just a plant, the inside of a plant! That's it. Can't get more natural than that. The other checkmark is that it's cheaper than regular sponges, you can just cut the amount of loofah you need for the day and throw it away! The other checkmark is it does not impact the environment; synthetic sponges are basically plastic and do not degrade.. this product will degrade and no harm to the environment. ANOTHER PLUS that I found great was that this product really helps form suds, so you use less dish soap, it keeps the suds inside, while you wash and it really really keeps the foam in tact on the inside of the sponge which I found awesome. Another plus is the sweet pleasant scent! one cut square of a loofah takes care of a day of washing for me, the loofah doesnt break down easy and provides enough strength to cut through dried up food and liquid. For harder, stuck on jobs, you might want to get a synthetic scrubber, but if you have easy to mild food/grease this will do the job quite nicely. All and all this was a huge win for my pocket book and the environment!

love these! mine came with 5 instead of 3 which i was really shocked to see. from other reviews it looks like they tend to give one or two extra on occasion which is nothing to complain about, lol. i personally recommend giving these a good soak and wash to get some of the starch and seeds out, took me maybe 5 minutes including the time it took to fill up the sink, let them soak up some water (i helped fluff them up by sort of ‘working them,’ which also helped get some of the starch out), and washing each of them individually. i didnt mind this at all, afterall whats 5 minutes of preparation for a much more eco friendly product! maybe its cos i used warm water (ive never used loofahs before) but they get SUPER soft in the water but still maintain a gentle but effective scrub. i was definitely expecting a much tougher product, but so long as it works who cares, lol. im very happy with my purchase. you can also cut them up so you can just use the small pieces (cos you really dont need a WHOLE loofah for washing the dishes or in the shower) so itll last you much longer. especially in my case with having 5 loofahs (😂😂😂), this makes the price WELL worth it, as you really have 6 or so sponges per loofah. i also love its natural smell! it smells like pumpkin seeds to me which i really like, but its subtle enough that anyone who isnt very keep on powerful fragrances wouldnt be too bothered

There are many different types of loofah's. This particular one has what I would call a fine pore size. The whole thing is really soft and not very abrasive. I was actually looking for a harder, larger cell or thicker fiber version...

Sooo amazing, never going back to plastic loofah. Got this on a whim because I felt bad about throwing away my plastic loofahs. Best decision ever! They exfoliate so much better. My skin feels amazing and bathing feels way more luxurious! I expected 3 and my pack had 5! Them being flat is great for taking up less storage area until I need them and then they puff up just fine. Having the entire loofah is great because the end part fibers are a bit softer and perfect for exfoliating my face (like better than my fancy exfoliator brush).

These are great. I received 4 loofahs. We each use one in the shower to leave us smooth and clean. I use half of one in the kitchen for the dishes (instead of Scrub Daddy). A much better cleaner than the old plastic loofah thingy's we'd been using and an earth-friendly option. Some of them have seeds inside that worked themselves out after a few uses - best to check first as it was a bit jarring when one fell out in the shower until I realized what it was :) I like that once they've work out I'll be able to put them in my compost bin and eventually reuse them in the garden.
