Good history source.
Well illustrated and written book on the Farmall Cub tractor. Lots of vintage photos showing the tractor at work. Very good history on the upgrade and what to look for when determining the year of manufacture. Rachel shows how to do several common maintenance items with great photos and well written instructions. Its a great book for an afternoon read when the snow is falling!

Poorly written, but nice photos
I tired to like this book I really did, but there is just so much repetition regarding the false economy of the value of Cubs today versus when new, I had to put the book down. This may sound petty, but when I read such nonsense it makes me wonder what else is slapped together in this book and it loses credibility as an "essential guide." For example (Page 46) "The average list price of a 1950s Cub Lo-Boy was $1,100. Today a Cub Low Boy in good physical condition can bring three or four time that original amount. Maybe it would have been a good investment to buy new tractors in the 1950s , store them for thirty or forty years, and resell them for huge profits"According to the Bank of Canada's inflation calculator $1,100 in 1955 is the equivalent of $11,000 in 2021. resell for huge profits...please...??
